I’m put into a struggling position because of this bankI called and waited for an hour to discuss with a human that i don’t know why my account was charged $28 and I need a refund she explained that planet fitness “ATTEMPTED” to pull money off my account, not that they did pull money off my account like they have in the past, I forgot about the annual fee and put an exact amount of money for certain bills in today and the bank charged me for something I was completely unaware of. The money wasn’t pending, there was no over draft fee, I had the money to put on my account but only put in the amount for CERTAIN bills and she said she can’t reverse itSO you guys didn’t make me aware of any pending payments, i wasn’t overdrafted and I’ve been going here for years, there’s no loyalty benifits? I’m more then aware and okay with over draft fees but not being thrown off guard and have $28 dollars taken from me I WOULD HAVE PLANNED DIFFERENTAnd honestly I’m not going to cancel my membership I’m just going to give you a bad review evvvery single time I’m just a little unsatisfied because I know you don’t value me or my service this bank has proved that

Been with them for over 40 years. Tried different Banks, but always came back. Never \\\"mystery fees\\\" or lost money like some Banks did. Will stay with NWCU for life.

I would give it a higher rating if they opened up earlier. Also, if they didn't punish people who need second chance banks. Also their overdrafts.

I have always had a good experience when I have gone into a branch, but when I call for help I am always shocked at how poor the customer service is here. Most recently, I was charged $5 because a document they sent to my old house we returned to them for an incorrect address. I apparently had changed my address on my personal account but not on my business account. I have been waiting for the last three weeks to receive an email from them granting me online access to my business account.... So obviously I was unable to change it online. When I asked if they could waive the fee I was told no... and that if I was still waiting on access to my business account online I should have called them or gone into a branch to change it. So thus, it was my fault the mail was returned. Yes... $5 is not a ton of money, but it is still $5. They also charge you $5 as a "research fee" to access any of your statements from the past. (Unless you go into a branch to get them, in which case they are super helpful). I have never been treated so poorly by my bank. As much as I don't want to go through the process, I plan to switch banks soon, as I fear these guys will totally screw me in the future should I ever need assistance from them. Really bad poor financial institution in my opinion.

Seriously the worst \\\"credit union\\\" no help with fraud claims, overdraft fees for no reason, literally had an overdraft with no previous charge to my account. Don't walk run away from this bank.

been with my credit union for about ten years now. Ever since the pandemic a lot of their staff have either quit or retired. And now it's the worst business I know of. So I used my PayPal cash card with the automatic Top-Up feature (which is linked to my cu checking) to check out my eBay shopping cart. This was supposed to be a SINGLE transaction for about $165. This would have been only one $28 insufficient funds fee plus the top up amount charged to my cu checking account. But for some reason PayPal had broken it up into individual transactions per item in the shopping cart. They kept on charging my bank for these individual amounts in $10 increments. Which has resulted in my nwcc account now being $803 overdrafted. This goes against paypals user agreement. Once I brought it to their attention, PayPal fixed the issues on their end an even provided me with an email to send to nwccu explaining how it was their error, and a their external request to reverse the insufficient funds fees on my behalf.** Especially since they didn't go through*. Nwccu reversed five of the fees but will not do the remaining 12 that are from the same single transaction. Instead they are requiring that PayPal or I pay them. Nwccu will not provide me with an explanation as to why they only reversed five of their fees, and they have closed out my account and are sending me to collections. I personally feel that by them reversing five of them is them acknowledging and admitting that it was an error. And that they're ignoring the rest of them is a personal attack on me in an attempt to just get rid of me because I do not make them much interest. I'm more than willing to provide all documentation to prove what I'm saying from both my PayPal account and my Northwest community credit Union account. What's really sad is I remember going in there when I was a little girl with my dad, and up until recently I was bringing my son in with me. So needless to say this extremely devastating to me.
