I received service from Nerds on Call in November 2021 to help me with diagnosing and fixing my slow PC. They replaced parts and were excellent in service that day. However, I realized today after reviewing a different transaction that they have been billing me on a monthly basis for $27.00 since November 2021! I was not informed of this subscription after my services with them, nor have I received any service from them since (I don't even have the same PC that they originally serviced on anymore). I've requested a refund and will change my review upon receiving a refund for charges that I was not made explicitly aware of.

Local elementary teacher here. I looked for a local computer repair company. These guys showed up on Google (which I heard they paid to have it pop up), and their website listed a local business, even included our local Oregon Ducks on their page. Turns out they closed all their stores in Oregon. They operate out of CA and hand your work orders over to 3rd party contractors. Which means the prices on their website don’t apply and you get charged more. My laptop wouldn’t turn on. The guy I handed it to said it needed a charger. He didn’t even have the tools to test that theory. I took my laptop to a different repair place. They were great, and were even able to take it apart and diagnose it on the spot. It was in fact, not the charger. NerdsOnCall refused to honor the prices on their website described as “quick fix”. So I paid $179 for an incorrect diagnosis and a headache. I HIGHLY recommend TheNerdStuff (old name Practical Computers) located in Springfield off Mohawk. No upfront costs, great customer service, and deal with a person from the start. No appointment required.The positive reviews on here really tricked me. Turns out those reviews are from prior ownership when they actually WERE local.

If your wanting to get your money stolen then go ahead be my guest and use these guys. There services are way overpriced like way overpriced your getting robbed if you have any other options id suggest them before is would ever recommend any of you using this service. Good luck

This company wanted to charge me 179 dollars as a flat rate to bring them my PC and get them to do a flash update on my motherboard. ( this is a Job that would have taken 5 minutes as I have everything to provide them to do the job except for the 8th Gen cpu) these guys are ripping people off I'd choose somewhere else to go if your not looking to be robbed what a scam.

Just called to try and get a quote and the guy with the deep voice who answered the phone could not have been more of a pr1ck. He got angry when i asked him to repeat himself and then even angrier when i said i didnt have an account i just needed to return another employees call. Dont waste your time with these assh0les

brought a new pc in to be finished , had problems with hdmi hand shake , they coulldnt solve it but the only tech there does do good basiic work.

River, the associate on duty today (11-25-19) was a great help, we are a Houston, TX base company up here for business when our (4 or 5 month old computer) decided not to boot up anymore ( Repairing disk error). We stopped by Best Buy, just for them to tell us 4 or 5 days to look at it. So Google here I come, I found Nerds On Call and was told to bring it in and he would try to help us. The hard drive is failing, but River was able to help us move some of our VERY IMPORTANT files over to our external hard drive so we would not lose this important information. I hope I never have to use them again, but if I need computer work again when in the area will definitely go back.. thank you again
