Les Schwab Springfield failed on basic tire repairs. I made an appointment online for flat repair and TPMS work (tire pressure monitoring system). In the comments, I wrote that I had 3 tires that needed to be checked for leaks and repaired if possible. I also wrote that I wanted the TPMS dash light to be off. I was perfectly willing to pay to have the issues taken care of -- flat repair, new tire(s), new monitors... whatever was necessary.Service took about an hour, and the tech explained that he found a nail in one tire and repaired it, and added air to another tire, and to the spare tire. He said "normally I charge $20 for a flat repair, but I'm feeling nice today". My invoice showed TWO flat repairs, both charges waived to $0, so that directly contrasted what the tech said about ONE flat repair. The TPMS light on my dash is STILL on, and they didn't fill the other tires to the correct pressure. Worst of all, the tire that they supposedly fixed STILL LEAKS. I went to drive my car yesterday for the first time since having the flat repaired 5 days earlier, and the repaired tire was at 15psi.Tech was really fixated on quoting me for new tires, insisting I'd need 4 new tires before end of Summer (without asking me any questions about how many miles I drive in a month -- it's usually about 500 lol). My current tires still have 30-40% tread (marked as yellow by Les Schwab on their green-yellow-red rating system).Thank goodness I did not spend any money at this business. Of all the tire shops I've every been in my life, Les Schwab Springfield is by far the least competent. (I've been to many other Les Schwab shops -- all the others were great!)

I recently moved here from out of state & went to Les Schwab for a new set of tires after hearing good things about them. It was extremely easy to make an appointment online. I went in, told them I had an appointment, and they took my car in almost right away. I also scheduled an alignment because I heard it was recommended when getting new tires. I figured it might take a few hours based on past experiences with car maintenance, but they were much faster than I expected. I think it took a little over an hour for everything. When my car was ready, they went over everything with me. It turned out that my alignment was already pretty good. They said they tweaked it a tiny bit, but it wasn’t enough labor for them to charge me for it. I’m a younger woman that’s naive when it comes to vehicles and I worry about getting taken advantage of. I thought it was really honest of them and it meant a lot to me. They could’ve easily charged me for it and I honestly wouldn’t have questioned it. The price I paid was exactly what I was quoted online, so I thought that was awesome. However, when my car was ready & I went to leave, something sounded really weird. I knew something was wrong. I immediately went back inside and let them know that it was running weird and making a strange noise. At this point, the place was pretty busy & I started to panic a little bit thinking something happened while it was being worked on. They were super apologetic and were willing to take another look at it because they didn’t feel comfortable sending me off with an issue that wasn’t there when I arrived. I can’t believe how kind & efficient they were in addressing the issue. Every employee seemed extremely busy, but they prioritized me and got my car back into a bay almost right away. It ended up being a very simple issue with the placement of some kind of rubber piece. I can’t exactly remember its function. It felt like they identified the problem & fixed it in an instant! I talked to a very nice gentleman after and he explained what the issue was. He even drew a diagram to help me understand. I went to leave & my car ran great! The tires felt good. The alignment felt good. Everything went incredibly smooth. I will obviously have to wait and see how the tires hold up, but I’m very happy with the service I received. I talked to three different men and a woman during my appointment & they were all very welcoming, caring & helpful. I didn’t feel like they were trying to take advantage of me, and they seem to really care about their customers. I highly recommend this location! I will definitely visit again if I need any future tire maintenance :)

Saturday night at closing time, we had to get a set of chains to make the drive up to Portland last minute to make a flight. These amazing people stayed late and even put the chains on for us. Thank you so much for helping make our wish happen.

I have gone to Les Schwab for years largely, because if something happens with a tire they have great customer service, fix it at no cost, and if a new tire is needed before the end of its life they prorate any tires and credit it towards the purchase of new tires. I recently had a tire go flat on the freeway because of a screw in my tire. My last set of tires what is $1200 for all four and I purchased them less than two years ago. I was told they would not prorate the value of the tire and put it towards a new tire purchase because they felt I had ignored a low tire indicator light and driven on the tire anyway which was not the case. They would not prorate it even after I explained to them the whole reason I took it to them it because they do prorate the tires if they go flat before the expected end of their life. There are clearly loopholes in their official, looking yellow certificates they provide and subjectively decide whether they want to honor it or not. Usually employees are nice and offer great customer service but over the years the services they provide are going down hill! I am going to Costco in the future.

I recently bought a used car from a reputable (?) dealership in Salem. My tires looked good, but started losing pressure. Less Schwab found an old nail in one and removed it, and patched it, and didn't charge me. I now have another tire going down, so I will be back to see them. We've gone to them for years, and I'm very happy with them!

Went there to have all my tires balanced and got all my rims scratched. They also scratched my calipers. When I told them about it they said “they are not responsible for the finishes of the items they work on”. Huh, you would think if you pay $70 for balancing that everything they touch would not be scratched. Seems like every Les Schwab you go to they don’t care about sustaining customer loyalty. I will not be back.

Nice clean waiting area, shop seems to run well with customers being served relatively quickly. Really nice people, not really a high-pressure sales environment and I appreciate that. Good times at Les Schwab!

This was a positive overall positive experience with customer service (from intake and honoring my tire warranty to work completion), waiting area (spacious and clean) and limited waiting time, and total satisfaction with Shaughn's work and kindness. Keep up the Awesome Work Shaughn!

Thank you for providing me with consistently excellent customer service! The whole team provided exactly the kind of service I have come to expect from Les Schwab, which is why they are the only company I have ever purchased tires from. One of my tires had a slow leak and after Kelly found the screw causing the issue, he fixed the problem. Kelly took the time to thoroughly explain what went wrong and that he fixed it, but that my tires were in very bad condition. After a detailed explanation of the wear and tear, he provided me a quote with multiple options for replacing my set and gave me the pros and cons of each.Kelly was very sensitive to the financial situation his customers may be in and let me know he fixed the leak so that I could have time to prepare for the cost of new tires. He was honest about how seriously they needed to be replaced and the risk of blowout so I would know I need to get ready. When I let him know that I would be happy to get the new set today he cheerfully took care of it right away, even though it meant he would work late. While Kelly replaced my tires, Johnny and Maia helped straighten out moving my account from the location I used to live at. It was a hassle free experience and they took the time to keep me well informed and apologized for minor delays which were in no way their responsibility. During brief times that I waited by the counter alone, every single team member that walked by stopped to check-in and make sure I was being helped (3 different people at least).I could not be more pleased with the customer service at this location. I was 16 years old when I got help from my first Les Schwab location using my dad's account, and as an adult it has been my pleasure to remain a loyal customer. Thank you for everything!
