“My hubby & I went there a couple of times to buy lumber for fencing whose price was comparable to big box stores. SQ is in Springfield, on Main St. so is convenient for us. The staff informed us that hardware prices are little high although they started as a hardware store & become more of a lumber business. One day my hubby needed a little square of wood to make a door for the garage attic. Instead of charging us for new plywood, they found a piece & trimmed it, the price reflecting that. They cut other wood for you.Pros: Excellent customer service, good assortment & prices for lumber. Convenient location. Cons: higher prices for hardware.”

“Harvey helped me out with my order. Free delivery if your order is over $500. Great service. Delivered in the time frame needed. I accidentally ordered the wrong boards and upon delivery I phoned and spoke with Matt who was able to get the correct boards ordered and the others picked up within a couple hours. The delivery driver Omer was super helpful in helping us get our boards exchanged. We really appreciate the effort he made to help us out. Don't hesitate. Their service is the best!”

“This place is amazing. The staff is friendly and they have a great inventory for anyone who likes to play and/or work in the woods. I went in looking for a particular sawyer item that unfortunately they didn't stock. But, I didn't go away empty handed. Bruce directed me towards a couple items they did have and shared some of his wisdom. In the end I got exactly what I needed and only spent half of what I thought I would need to spend. “Had a small issue with a purchase I made when I stopped in. Store is 2 hours away so it's quite the undertaking to stop back in. Called the store and spoke with Scott, who in turn was empowered by the manager to fix the issue. After a few phone calls Scott came up with a solution that worked well and sent it right out to me. Great staff every time I have been in a well.”
