My dog got into something he shouldn’t have, and they were suppose to give us medication for him. But we have waited 3 hours to simply receive the medication. When I asked the front desk what was taking so long they said he would be getting treatment soon and then a nurse came in saying “I heard you told the front desk he was getting worse so we recommend hospitalization” and was rude when I said he’s not getting worse in fact he’s doing better now I just wanted to see what was taking so long. I never said he was getting worse I was just making sure they didn’t forget about us because we’ve been waiting for 3 hours. It seems like they were pushing for money by having him stay and with how long they’ve left him alone untreated, I don’t know that I’d trust having him stay overnight here anyways. And then she asked if we just wanted to leave… like no? I want my dog treated in a timely manner. I understand they have other animals to care for but they didn’t check in on my dog even once in the last 3 hours

Our cat was extremely backed up and uncomfortable at drop-off. The vet suggested a host of tests that turned out to be unnecessary. After 7 hours and spending about $1,300, we took our cat home. Unfortunately, our cat is still experiencing the same discomfort and constipation with no improvement. The staff was kind in person; however, they were short and dismissive over the phone. We should have been turned away after describing the issues initially over the phone or in person. We felt taken advantage of in what turned out to be a non-emergency situation that we are now left dealing with ourselves.

Last two time I came here I was very unsatisfied. Staff seems great and I understand prioritizing unstable pets but the first incident they had us Waiting for 6 hours and it wasn't until the night dr came in and quickly saw us while apologizing about day shift not seeing us, explaining there was no reason for us to wait that long. Right now i just came in and there were only two other people being seeing an Australian shepherd came in after I did and after both being told it might take a while cuz they're stable, They decided to see the Australian shepherd and send him home but weren't able to see me even tho I've been waiting an hour more than they have and even had the audacity to ask to keep waiting

These guys saved my dog’s Echo’s life, and I’m SO grateful. Yes, you will have to wait. They operate like a human ER where they prioritize more urgent cases that may come in after you. I waited 2 hrs for my dog to be seen. But, the medical equipment available is excellent. Their CT machine detected a (partial) blockage that xray couldn’t pick up. My dog ended up staying overnight for multiple nights because she was sooo sick and I was comforted knowing that techs and doctors were there 24 hours a day to give her the care and attention she needed. I received overnight texts of pictures of her with little updates, which I appreciated IMMENSELY. The techs were all extremely knowledgeable and the doctor did a FANTASTIC job on my dog’s intestinal resection surgery. The incision healed beautifully and I couldn’t be happier that I have my baby back!! I spent $10k here and it was worth every penny. 5 well deserved stars. You guys are all angels, absolutely every single one of you. Thank you, thank you ?(But, I hope I never see you again, haha)? Katie K

Christmas visits to the emergency vet are never on anyone’s wish list, but every member of the staff treated us with empathy and compassion the whole way through! Very knowledgeable staff and extremely polite and encouraging! 10/10 would recommend!

I want to say how these people went above and beyond for my pacman frog. Coming from Newport and googling exotic veterinary hospitals no one would see her, but these guys took a chance and saved my daughter. When you’re having an emergency everything is a panic. I was crying, she was making little baby chirps crying… I don’t have her meds and paper work with me but the dr and staff who worked on Monday 12/18/23… thank you a million times over! I added a pic of her after surgery. She’s at home healing. I just can’t recommend more and say enough nice things and my gratitude is to the moon. Thank you!

When my elderly dog was attacked by a neighbor's we had to make the gut wrenching decision to put her down. Every staff member there was kind, patient, and empathetic. The vet helped us through the entire process and although it was a very sad day, I felt confident in her assessment and professionalism.

This is the second time I have been here with an animal cats Both times the first time I came in I did not Have enough money to save his life. He died 3 hours later. I am now back here again and they have asked me if I have at least $2000 on credit for my animal. To be seemed so moral of the story is if you do not have enough money. They do not care about your animal. I will repost again and let you know how much I had to pay.

I spent 7 hours in this place, and they didn't do very much. They do more socializing than working.

My mothers cat had UT inflammation, five hours and he was discharged. It went smooth and the clinic itself was very clean and accommodating. However they are three very significant issues.1: NO INTENT to DISCREDIT/DEFAME The vet was apathetic. She called my mom (mind you she was asleep) and told her what she’s done and that her cat was ready. The thing is, the vet was not reassuring. She didn’t come and speak with my mom personally at the time of discharge we had to ask to speak as there were miscommunication in discharge instructions. I understand vets are busy but just a 3-5 minute exchange and a SMILE ensures your customers feel cared for and confident. Not one “I hope he feels better” nothing. Poor interpersonal communication2: PROFIT OVER MORALSShe recommended a prescription diet. The first five ingredients being meat byproduct meal, wheat gluten, guar gum, veg oil and corn meal. I bluntly asked why she stood behind it. The vet is a beautiful young woman FAR to smart to lie, the gut is your second brain after all. She said she felt “cornered” so my mom basically tells me to drop it as it was apparent she wasn’t going to be honest with us. My mom spent $800 and her cat feels unwell. You know this “prescription diet” is harmful it’s not going to benefit the cat leaving him vulnerable to illness and my moms heart with uncertainty. Nothing is perfectly moral, Royal Caine is a sponsor more than likely but do people a favor, if you can’t recommend a true nutritional diet, DON’T.3: It’s important to introduce yourself/position and briefly explain what you’ll need. For example: “Hi I’m __ I’m the __ and am here to __ . We spoke with four different people after checking in with front desk. It creates confusion, like a game of telephone.
