R Spot Takeout and Eatery
161 N Elm St, SistersCute little place that serves upscale sandwiches and pasta dishes. My family enjoyed all our meals, the cozy ambiance and hearing all about the talented chef here. Judging by all the locals that stopped in, R Spot is a popular place! It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Sisters Coffee Company
273 W Hood Ave, SistersWe regularly buy their coffee at home so I was excited to stop in and have a cup of coffee on our way to Bend. Such a cute place, the staff was super friendly. We ordered a couple cookies and 2 lattes and it was all amazing. The latte was velvety and not too sweet and no bitterness at all. Glad we made the stop.

Sisters Saloon & Ranch Grill
190 E Cascade Ave, SistersWe came to the Saloon about 30 minutes before closing. Our server, Cameron, was the only server at the time. Despite this, the service from both Cameron and the kitchen was fantastic. Everything was served on a timely manner and the food was great. There is nothing better than visiting a restaurant that clearly takes pride in their service! Thanks Cameron and the kitchen!!

The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse
13300 US-20, SistersWOW, suttle lake lodge did NOT disappoint. we visited mid-march, in the off season, and the experience was so serene. each member of the staff was kind and extremely accommodating. i felt so well taken care of during our entire visit. each meal at the skip bar was better than the last. do not sleep on the carrots or the delicata squash!! the toiletries provided in the rooms smelled incredible and were great to use.we happened to have great weather and enjoyed a run around the lake our first day. on day two, instead of hiking, we just walked up the local roads until we hit dead ends (snow). great views of three fingered jack and washington. lounging around the grounds was reminiscent of summer camp -- reading on the dock, watching sunsets over the lake, and star gazing on the beach.i would highly recommend a mid-week visit in the off-season for a quiet getaway. i also think it would be a really unique spot for a work retreat!! if i lived in bend or sisters, i would pop in here mid week OFTEN for a little staycation.

Cottonwood Cafe
403 E Hood Ave, SistersNice small cafe, art works on the walls. This is a converted bungalow into a cafe. Lots of choices for breakfast. I'm GF, no problem menu is very clear if GF or vegetarian is available. I had grits - creamy with cheese and bacon on top. My husband had chicken fried steak beautiful and flavorful! Our server knew the menu and was very pleasant. We'll be back.

Skip Bar at the Suttle Lodge
13300 US-20 #2, SistersReview is just for the bar/restaurant. Popped in here for a late lunch after hiking Black Butte. Had heard good things about their food and wanted to treat myself while on a little Central Oregon vacation, and boy am I glad I did. The main lodge area is simultaneously cozy and trendy, complete with a fireplace amongst lots of wood architecture and modern furniture. It gave me Society Hotel vibes, for those familiar.I went for the "famous" (it was featured in the Eater's Guide to the World Hulu series hosted by Maya Rudolph) fish sandwich. It was quite spendy but worth it for a splurge. It was quite a bit of food and delicious, and that's coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of seafood. Kind of wish it came with some of fries or another side for the price but what can ya do. I didn't get a drink but the cocktails looked great. Recommend putting your phone away, grabbing one of the many coffee table books they have stacked up, and enjoying the fire and the peace.I went for a hike around Suttle Lake afterwards which was also great. Lots of birds on the water and saw a Bald Eagle swooping. I noticed lots of cabins, campsites, picnic areas, swimming holes, canoes/kayaks, etc. Overall looks like an awesome place to actually spend time. I'd happily come back in the warmer months to spend a weekend here.

Ski Inn Taphouse and Hotel
310 E Cascade Ave, SistersWe are slowly working our way through the restaurants in Sisters OR. This time we are trying lunch at Ski Inn Taphouse Hotel. First impression: Where do we sit? It took us awhile but we found an open table with stools. The wait staff was busy trying to keep up with the demand. Menus were dropped off by someone carrying food to another table. After awhile we ordered iced tea, chicken pot pie, brisket sando, onion rings, and a side salad with thousand island dressing. Ice tea was good. I liked the brisket sando. It had a nice balance of sweet and spicy. Onion rings were just ok. Side salad came with Ranch Dressing instead of the Thousand Island that we ordered. Chicken pot pie had a strange spice taste that left us disappointed. In short we were disappointed; but, will give Ski Inn Taphouse Inn a second chance.
