703 N Larch St, SistersThey managed to get me in for a same-day appointment to remove some cheat grass from my dog's ear, and both the receptionist and the doctor were very kind to both me and my dog. And, although I was quoted a price when I made the appointment that included sedation, I was very happy that Dr. Steve first tried removing the cheat grass without sedation--and succeeded! That meant that I got out of there for half of what I expected to have to pay, and more importantly, my dog didn't have to deal with being sedated. I also liked that I was able to be in the room with my dog during the procedure (which is becoming less common at other vets over the last few years, I've noticed--and causes unnecessary stress to the dog...and by extension, to me.) Very happy with the whole experience.

211 Sun Ranch Dr #101, SistersI moved to Bend nearly 2 years ago and before I even moved, I was looking up the best beers/saisons/sours/drinking establishments and found Funky Fauna on many lists.
So I swung by, drank a couple of their offerings and loved the whole experience.
The taproom is cozy, eclectic, and welcoming.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging.
The drinks are exactly what I'd expect from small-batch saisons: "weird" combinations that all work very well together.
Joining their mug club was a must after that first visit. I don't make it up to Sisters very often (it's not that far, it's just that I'm still exploring everything the area has to offer and my home base is Bend), but I almost always stop in when I am in town.

The service was great even though the man running the bar was alone and doing everything himself. The portions are huge so we definitely could have split a meal and still had plenty to eat. The garlic bread was out of this real delicious.

Food is made to order so it takes a little bit longer, but everything is fresh and hot so it’s very much worth the wait. Both the breakfast and lunch sandwiches are amazing and you really can’t go wrong. The gluten free english muffin is delicious and I am grateful they have the option! Highly recommend checking it out :)

To top it all off, we tried the Oregon Berry Cobbler dessert, and it was a true delight! Sweet, fresh, and the perfect way to finish a great meal. Sisters Saloon has mastered the balance of great food, warm service, and authentic local flavors. Highly recommend!
