My husband, me, and our two senior dogs stopped by at this location on 12/19/23 to buy cans of wet food for our cats, glass cat bowls, pet throws, and an XXL durable mat for our two geriatric dogs to share. At that time, we didn't know that store location is closing and it's unfortunate because we have been to this pet store several times and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Hopefully, you guys can just relocate to a different location, since we do like stopping by whenever we are in Sherwood. Kudos to Denice the cashier who rang our purchase that day, she was able to price matched items I found on sale on the petco website. Keep up the awesome customer service : )

Just heard this location is closing due to being a challenge to get into to now. Please just move it then! There's so many houses so being built near this store and no competition! Forcing folks to Amazon yet again isn't going to help. Now I gotta drive 30 mins down the road through aweful traffic

Actually went to return a package. Wasn’t aware prior that they did that service for other retailers (like online). I likened it to Kohl’s returns of Amazon packages.Store is crowded and small.

I was visiting a town half hour from home. Needed to run errands and used the website to find a store and check quantities on the litter I needed. All were easy to access and inventory counts were accurate!

Unfortunately it seems like everytime I go to Petco Unleashed in Sherwood they have removed an item that I buy regularly from their shelves. And further they don't have a suitable substitute.

Everyone was very helpful and kind. Just got a new puppy and needed to get her a xxs harness and a $16.00 dog tag. I even found some treats and a puppy chew toy, for a fairly low price! I also got to engrave the tag, myself, right there at the store!It's been 4 years, since we lost our boy, Nikko. Having another dog, has been everything, for our family. Thank you, for helping us welcome our new baby home!

Went in to get a new dog toy. The store had a limited selection compared to a bigger pet store we usually shop at. But we were able to find two new toys for our sweet dog.

I ordered a case of Petco's Whole Hearted canned dog food through the auto-delivery program. My pug puppies would barely eat it, and pugs are famous for eating anything. When they got hungry enough to finally eat, they'd vomit and have foul, oily stools. I assumed Petco would back their product, it would be a simple return. I was incorrect. It's been an unusually busy few weeks; a death in the family, a busy holiday season, etc. Taking this back wasn't a priority. It was 5 weeks after purchase that I had time to return it. I didn't know Petco has a rock-solid, unbreakable 2 week return policy. Two weeks? To back up canned, private label dog food? I worked for years in retail management and customer service. I've never heard of a less customer-friendly policy. I didn't get angry, didn't get abusive, I just asked if they were certain that this is how they wanted to handle this situation. They were adamant; the problem was mine, the policy was in place and I could take my business elsewhere. Wow I expected better from Petco. I told them my puppies were 8 months old, and asked if they wanted to lose out on years of business over a few cans of dog food. They didn't apologize, didn't offer any solution other than they had a 2 week return policy. Ok. I left the dog food on the counter, then went across the street to Mud Bay and dropped about $100 on a new bed, toys and treats. When I told the MB associate that it was my first time in the store, she thanked me for coming in and gave me a "Welcome New Customer" card with $5 off my next purchase. So now I'm a Mud Bay customer. Cancelled my Petco auto delivery, closed my account and deleted the Petco app. This happened 11/25/22 at the Petco Unleashed in Sherwood.

Awesome pet store friendly workers who were helpful. Also a variety of healthy food and treats for cat and dogs. Also wonderful to see them support the local Newburg animal shelter with various donations.

Store was clean and well stocked. Lots of self wash stations. Less selection than a regular Petco store, so be prepared for that.

Only 4 stars because of the limited selection. It's a cat and dog store with little to no options for any other pets. Great variety for those animals and almost always have great discounts in their bins.
