“5 star experience for my daughter’s FIRST SKATEBOARD! Devon was fantastic. 10/10 dude. It was late & he stayed past closing to help us. A lot of great information and got to commiserate over the good ol’ days of the 90’s. Educated us on the board & fully assembled it for us (very knowledgeable, very patient, very friendly and not in a weird way). Even gave my kid a free lesson at the end! Place has 5 stars for a reason. We’re just in town visiting but whether you’re new to Portland or a skate regular this is your one stop shop! Thanks so much Devon! Keep on keepin on man ?”

“Store manager Eric and Jenny(?) were very helpful and was able to find the sunglasses I wanted and honored a promo deal from the Oakley website. I was greeted within steps of entering the store but was left to browse without feeling being hovered over. I usually have a good experience at the Washington Square store and this last visit reflected that.”
“I just walked in today cause a hat hanging up caught my eye, and a girl approached me (I'm bad with names but I wanna say her name was poppy or something) who had pink (and I wanna say green) died hair and glasses.This girl had to be the friendliest employee I've ever met at a Hot Topic in 17 years of shopping at various HT locations in many states. She told me about how much she loves the anime merch I was looking at, and she even showed me some hoodies she loved that i would have missed otherwise. I want to bring my wife in and work with her and get a lot of the cool shirts and hoodies I saw today. Roberto knocked it out of the park with a perfect modern fit suit and corresponding outfit! So styley! My son has literally never looked better!”
“My boyfriend and I have stopped by a few times while browsing Washington Square Mall and had a good experience here. They had a good selection of equipment and clothing from which to choose. I like the quality of the jackets and footwear; however, all of it can be a bit pricey. There are more affordable options hidden in the store, though, and if you're lucky, you can stumble across a sale. First time I was here, I ended up really eyeing some booties they had. Unfortunately, they did not have my size of the color I wanted in stock at store. The sales associate was pretty friendly and informed me that I could get the shoes in a couple days by ordering through the store's iPad and she could get me free two-day shipping for the same price, which I did. My boots came in three days, but they're so worth it, they're comfortable and I'll be walking around town in them for sure. I came back to get my partner the same boots for Christmas a couple of months later and they let me go through the same process.”

“I went into the Washington Square location looking for a sweatshirt in a size XS as a gift. Sadly there weren’t any in stock, but Baxter took down my name and number and texted me after a restock a few days later. He let me know which items/colors he had in that size and offered to put the one I wanted on hold. Good customer service can be hard to find these days and Baxter really went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible for me.”
“Love this place. Everyone is always so helpful and nice. Had a large online return and the cashier made it so easy for me. I didn't have an invoice in the box so she just asked for my phone number. “I drove almost 2 hours just to come to Boot Barn because there are none where I live and it was extremely worth the trip! We got there later than expected and they didn’t rush us out even though we tried to hurry. All of the people who work there are so amazing, especially this one girl I forget her name but she has black hair and darker skin. She helped me find the boots I was looking for. She even helped me pull boots off my feet because I have a back injury and can’t bend well? I really wish I remembered her name she deserves a raise. I definitely will be going back”
