For the people that can make something out of nothing, this place is great. Tons of raw materials, plenty of inspiration. Nice large wood slabs, rough sawn dimensional lumber and lots of doors and trim.

I generally love this place and the woman behind the counter today was very helpful and could not have been better. The man out in the lumberyard though, while friendly and helpful, was condescending and just downright obnoxious. Actually had the audacity to tell me that maybe “my husband” could build something for me, and told me I’d need a vehicle that could haul lumber, when I had driven my truck, of course, since I’m actually not an idiot. I told him how many boards I needed but he insisted on figuring it out himself, which he did wrong, trying to sell me twice as many boards as I actually needed. ?
He also had the nerve to repeatedly yell at my dogs for looking at the chipmunks that were everywhere. Don’t yell at my dogs who are standing calmly by my side, leashed. And why would they listen to a complete stranger? Unpleasant.
I am a landscape contractor, I’ve run a farm for 20 years, and have renovated 3 properties on my own, I just happen to be female. I got a good deal but I’m not sure it was worth dealing with the sexist nonsense. It’s 2024, for Pete’s sake! Try treating all your customers with respect.

Ordered a couple doors. Start to finish a great experience. One of the doors was used and BMR hung the door, the quality of the millwork was excellent.

Did not have what they advertised with pretty photos and detailed descriptions on Marketplace and Craigslist. Was told the ads were generic. They are too lazy to update or know that it baits people, So don't drive here based on those ads. I wasted my morning going here with terrible traffic both ways to find out how they operate. Don't waste your time. They really pissed me off.

I've been coming here for years. I've built beautiful things with the products from BMR. The service is excellent and they're always helpful and friendly. Check in often because some things are amazing buys and naturally don't last long!

I have been a bmr customer since they opened. The owners previously were my house inspector. I have nothing but good things to say about them.If you are doing a deck, fence or other wood project that does not require prime s4s clear lumber these are the guys.
