My clutch failed completely in my 2011 Ford Ranger on Monday. Another shop didn't want to deal with a major clutch job. They said I shouldn't look any further than The Bolts on Motors shop in Sherwood for the clutch work. As soon as I had my truck towed to the shop. Mary had the truck checked and the staff said "sure." They knew what to do within the hour.
An estimate was written up with a complete description explained to me. An appointment was set up for Wednesday and the work was completed by Thursday using all Ford parts. The price was very reasonable compared to my regular Ford dealership. I was surprised how smooth a properly working clutch shifted. The work came with a 12 months 12,000 mile warranty on parts and labor.
I would recommend Bolts on Motors completely. It is the "Go to Shop" people always seek out.

Have had some work done at Bolt On Motors a couple of times now and they are very fair and easy to work with. The first job that was done was a complete head gasket replacement. Work took about a week and the car was back in good shape afterwards. They are honest and stand by their work. If there is any issues they will work with you seamlessly to fix it. I will continue to take my car there in the future.

Had a f550 superduty with the notorious 6.0 diesel and heads were blown, they re did the gaskets and many more things on my truck including injectors and also didn’t charge me for labor on the clutch since it was there when they pull the motor. Truck runs great now and very happy customer. Will definitely use them again. Thanks bolt on motors for the great experience.

Let the owner know up front that I would not be changing out a transmi6for 3,000 on a car worth 3,000. he suggested a 400.00 transmission check to see that it was good prior to other work. He checked it, told me it was fine but the car needed a fuel pump. Along with a couple other small issues. I authorized the work. He did all that, said I owe him 1,800.00. and that the car needs a new transmission.This shop does bait and switch, and does not give proper information in order to make the right choices on car repair. I will also be notifying the BBB about these shifty business practices.Service: Engine repair
