I was so excited to see the HBF Kiwi Berries in the store. I’ve seen them on Facebook and was happy to have a chance to try them. I was disappointed. A least half the berries were very squishy. Since I’ve never tried them before I wasn’t sure how they were suppose to taste. The other half were delicious. I just wish I could of enjoyed the full carton.

I've bought Hurst's blueberries at Sprouts Market locations in southern California at least twice in the last year, but I won't buy the brand again. The first batch--in the small plastic container--had an odd flavor, but I wasn't sure if this was the fault of the berry farm or maybe the store had not handled the berries properly. Then, more recently, I decided to try another batch of their blueberries when I saw them in the same Sprouts store. The flavor was horrible--kind of a weird mix of chemical and spoiled taste. It's hard to describe, but not a flavor I can recall having from other blueberries, and I've bought a lot of blueberries over the years. I tried twice to reach the Hurst customer service, leaving a voicemail message both times--no response. Finally, I sent an email to the Hurst site explaining that I wanted to pass along a comment and question, mentioning I had already tried twice to reach their CS and what my problem was with the berries. Again, no response. I consider it discourteous to stiff customers wanting to share their experience. I won't buy anything else from this company, and I recommend others avoid them because of their lack of quality control and lack of decent customer service. I have no respect for this company. Their website looks cool and professional, but don't be fooled by that deceptive promotional appearance.

I've read some of the reviews pertaining to blueberries. They are SUPPOSED to taste a bit sour, not sweet. If they are sweet, then they usually are soft to the touch. My experience with the Hurt's berries has been excellent and I also love their RED CURRENTS which are very difficult to get outside of Oregon. I'm going to go on a mission to make sure that my local supermarkets start carrying the red currents because I have so many recipes for which they are needed.

I was very disappointed, there was so many of the blueberries that still had stems and dried blueberry bud. It was like they went from pail to container to be sold. I'm not sure that I would buy any more that have the Hurst's name on them.

These are some of the worst blueberries I’ve eaten. Many bland/tasteless or sour berries to one sweet one - if you’re lucky. Plus the skins are tough/leathery and most have a flat or bitter taste. They are tiny too... A real Waste of money. I won’t buy berries with Hursts’ name on them again. If I could give a zero, I would. Terrible disappointment.
