Worst experience ever! First, when walking through the door one of the older ladies looked me up and down (YES, I'm a black female) and proceeded to ask "do you need something?" When I asked if they carried bathing suits, she again looked me up and down then said "for you?" Now being a size 10 isn't the end if the world for me, but it clearly bothered her. I stated I needed it for my daughter who is an adult, and she jusr assumed was a child. She took us to a rack and proceeded to watch us while we looked through the suits, not asking if we needed assistance. While my daughter was trying on the bathing suit one stayed right by the dressing room and the other follwed me around while I was waiting for my daughter and looking at the clothing, oddly uncomfortable. After making the purchase for the bathing suit we were then escorted out the door by one of the older ladies while the other lady waited by the front door to watch us leave! Absolutely appalling and uncalled for, they didn't even try to hide their bias and stereotyping! Disgusting and uneducated older women! Very Disheartening! And to think I still spent my hard earned money there just so my daughter could enjoy our family vacation. SMH

Older women with short white hair better learn the Federal Laws regarding Service Dogs. They are going to get sued! And I work in the law!
Went in with my service dog. She approached me and asked me to pick him up and carry him. I said no. She went off on a very long, loud and rude tirade. I had pants and a top in my hands. Over $140.00 worth. I put them back and left. I will never ever go back in there again. I will advise others not to shop there. With so many bad reviews you would think the owner would care. Apparently not. Perhaps I should sue them. Maybe that will wake them up. And it won’t cost me a penny to do so.

There is cute stuff but my 82 yo Mom fell down the 2 steps & broke her ankle. Another customer and myself were trying to help her. After about 10 min, then a young employee walked up and asked if she was okay. Her face made it look like someone was twisting her arm to ask. I asked her if this happens a lot. She replied with yes. With that knowledge this shop needs to put a ramp there or keep that door locked and only have the other door opened.

This is my mother-in-law's favorite store. She makes it a destination to shop here. Be prepared to pay a premium for things like sunglasses, beach towels or flip-flops. Wide, great selection. They even have a men's section, where I tried in some pretty sporty sunglasses for $13, any style. They also have great clothing, with well known brands and off-kilter brands alike. If you're looking for something functional or a beach keepsake, they will probably have it here.

Staff was rude. My friend accidentally spilled his coffee, which I understand is annoying and inconvenient, but the woman spoke rudely to him and didn’t offer to help clean it up. She said, “you clearly didn’t read the no food or drink sign” loudly in front of all the customers. It was unprofessional and immature. The coffee didn’t damage any items, it just got on the floor. Customer service matters. It’s what makes people stay and come back. I’d recommend an attitude adjustment.

I love Ter Hars. Great selection and friendly helpful associates. Recently I went in on my birthday to put an outfit together. I had so much fun! Thank you for making my day so special. I will be back!

They have good brands here, and some good deals. When my partner and I stopped by, all of the store was on clearance. The clothes that they sold were generally not my cup of tea. Didn't realize it was a women's apparel shop when looking from outside, which was a bit disappointing to me since I wanted to buy my partner something. They do have some really nice hats and stickers.

Staff isn’t customer friendly. Me and my 6 year old daughter were followed the entire time by some rude old lady who apparently thought I was there to steal. Little did she know I had hundreds of dollars in cash on me and genuinely looking to spoil my daughter. I had planned on buying a lot more than what I actually did but I was tired of being treated like a thief so we left. I’ll never shop here again.

This darling shop carries a wide selection of clothing, with a few decorations and accessories on the side. It's a "must stop" EVERY time we go to Seaside! They carry a LOT of fun Life is Good apparel, a rack of Christian themed t-shirts (wow!), a huge selection a cute vinyl stickers, and more. Forget to pack a sweatshirt to the beach? They've gotcha covered.
