Small town, small store, but Ace Hardware is local and staffed by helpful people who genuinely try to help customers. My almost new trimmer wouldn’t feed the line and I couldn’t get the head open (fill in your favorite swear word here). My helper spent about 15 minutes getting the darn thing open and then fixing it. He also explained how to restring it when needed. Pretty sure that wouldn’t happen at either of the 2 big box stores.

Just a note to say thank you. It was a long rough day getting my oil furnace back online. The previous tune up tech had made some questionable choices I had to correct. I appreciate your well stocked, clean hardware store with the furnace fuel filter and high temp gasket material I desperately needed to keep guests happy.

Wish old white people where more polite came in for a phone sale just asked nicely no big deal if it's a yes or no but cashier didn't even know what a phone sale is so asked to speak to manager and nothing but attitude
