Open 24 hours
17430 Meinig Ave, Sandy“On my second week of the fundamentals course and I am already hooked! The environment is great and everyone is very encouraging. Ben and Lyndi have been super helpful throughout the process as well. I would highly recommend giving this gym a shot if your looking to better yourself and need a great support group while doing it.”
“I love this place and the community it has so it gets 5 stars for it any day. On the other hand some of the staff is very rude and I remember one in particular named sandra who acts super nice when people are around but whenever it's just you and her she's super rude and unprofessional overall.”
“In Sandy, there are two main gym options. Thrive Fitness is the smaller, more affordable, more straightforward option. It was opened by a bodybuilder/powerlifter and kept to the essentials. I've mostly interacted with employee Becky, from my 7-day free trial, to sign up, to a session explaining machines and checking my form. I've appreciated her welcome to the gym. I also appreciate the 24/7 access for members (though I'm usually there during staffed hours). In terms of main equipment/things to know, they have: Three squat/deadlift racks, plus a Smith, Hack, and Pendulum machine. They just got a hip thrust machine which is very appreciated. Normal amount of dumbbells and a small collection of kettlebells. A turf area. Plenty of ellipticals, two stair climbers, and many treadmills though they do sometimes fill up. Single-gender bathrooms with two stalls and one shower. Parking lot.”
