“This is my favorite vintage store in downtown Salem. Christine is so friendly and always on hand to help look for specific things (orange dress for a wedding? She has a dozen options.) or she'll let you browse or she loves to just chat.
This shop feels welcoming because Christine owns and operates it. She has costumes and stuff to wear for everyday. She rotates her stock for the seasons. Nothing reeks of a thrift store: what a nice change to try on stuff that doesn't stink of urine/cleaning products! She's happy to shop for a specific thing you need while she sources. And she has a fashion show every April that you can watch or model in-- sounds fun to me!”
“I love shopping at this shop! Every time one of my friends or family announces they're pregnant, I get excited to go to The Freckled Bee. There is such a huge selection and quite a few laughs to see when you stop in. The quality is exceptional. Plus, they do custom prints very quickly; I've always had same-day. Definitely recommend!”

“I needed help with ordering a pair of shoes and the staff were so nice about helping me! There online website is super great. Fast and easy process with shipping and such, I got my stuff in like 2 days of ordering them. Works out a ton when it’s busy there, no hassle!”

X-Mas stuff is displayed. Beautiful. However if you're looking for any greens, blues it won't be found here. Was quite disappointed in the same color scheme.
It's gorgeous and a LOT of neat things.”

“This shout out is for Rosie. Thurs Sept 19, my family went kayaking down the Santiam river and capsized. I floated down the river for quite some time before I could be rescued. I didn't bring spare clothes because I didn't plan on swimming, so I had to get into dry/warm clothes and fast. She was super loving, nurturing, and caring. She gave me a bag to put all my wet clothes in, let me put on clothes that I like and wear them out of the store, and made the whole experience a calm one (despite how traumatized i was). Thank you so much for helping me that day. You have no idea how much it meant to me”

“Was warmly welcomed in and they let me browse which I loved. Really super helpful staff got me a clean sanitized changing room after spotting me with a pile of jeans to try on and let me know if I needed any other sizes they were happy to help. Lily was friendly and helpful and offered to save me 15% off with a Maurices credit card, or 10% off if not approved. She said I could pay the card off online or in the store easily and explained the benefits. Super quick form and approval and I was on my way. I appreciate the non pushy service, most stores that are pushy I just leave due to my PTSD/Anxiety. I will be back! #JustTakeMyMoney”

“Their store advertises on their storefront that they sell many, many things, including shoes. I poked my head in one day to ask; they do not sell shoes.However, they do sell lots of clothes. My teenage son was pleased with their selection. We may be buying many of his clothes here in the future.The salespeople were very helpful in directing us to what we were looking for. They have knowledge on sizing and which of their products shrink a lot, despite being made completely of polyester.Two things I noticed: their wares are not returnable or exchangeable. Their receipt says "because of Covid."Also, my son wanted to try things on. There are two dressing rooms, and one was in use. A clerk told us we couldn't use the second dressing room because "the door locks from the outside." We waited patiently for the dressing room to be available.If your store's major product is clothes, would you not invest in many well-operating dressing rooms and a good return/exchange policy? Still, our visit was smooth and swift. We'll most likely be back again.”

“One thing I like about Ross is that you never know what you might find here. It's a hit and miss. So sometimes you might find exactly what you were looking for, and other times you may find something else on your list you weren't expecting to pop up....it keeps you coming back for more.Also, their home goods selection isn't bad for the size of the store...
