I was very disappointed today and will never shop there again. I can't believe that they charge for bibles. While I was there a homeless man had one and they charged him for it. So wrong

This is a terrific thrift store with a wide selection of items. And the prices are reasonable.

I love that there is a thrift store where the proceeds go to caring for dogs and cats. Great selection of items. I donate here. I will gladly support them. It’s not cheap to care for all these shelter animals so I’m glad the money made form the donations that people bought goes to the care for their dogs and cats.

Really nice place I go there with my kids every once in a while things are usually in good shape but maybe sometimes a little on the high side of the price but it's for donations so sometimes I don't mind all and all a great place.

Honestly, I've just had enough of this place. I've tried my hardest to donate and support local for the last 3 weeks, even when Ki specifically tells me to tell the other employees to take the clothing, they refuse. I understand you're full, but why would she tell me to tell you to take them and then employees like JEFF refuses them. You ask us to support you. You ask us to donate. We're trying to do that and you will not let us. I will not be donating here any longer, not shopping here. For the sake of the animals, Please get it together and take donations. Isn't that how you keep afloat? Isn't that how you can help them?

Asked the man at the front if my 3 year old could use the bathroom while we were shopping. He directed us where to go. I was snapped at by a woman when I headed towards the back. She told us no to using the restroom and told us to go use the bathroom elsewhere. We did not purchase anything and will not be back. Dissatisfied with experience.

Dingy and in need of upkeep. The prices (even being downtown) are high and the location is becoming a hazard with the degenerate homeless.Smells musty and slightly like urine and that's I side.I went in to see about options on a dress. The rack was sticky and prices are more spendy than goodwill! The service is friendly.

I have donated to this thrift store for years hoping my donations make a difference for the good of animals. One of my other Passions is contributing as little as possible to the negative impact by humans to the environment, so I live as committed as possible to the reduce reuse recycle lifestyle. Some years back before I left the parking lot at the thrift store from donating, I saw an employee throwing books into a garbage dumpster to include a full Encyclopedia set. I called and visited with a person in charge at the thrift store and came away with the impression that they do this as little as possible, throwing away usable items, either giving it away for free or re-donating it to a place like Goodwill. After shopping at the thrift store this afternoon and leaving near closing time, I saw an employee again throwing away MANY different items, big and small, into the dumpster, making at least a few trips doing this. I got out of my car and looked in the dumpster. I was sickened. I am so disappointed, frustrated, angry, discouraged, hopeless...How is it that supposedly being the highest IQ creatures on this planet that we are unable to creatively use material resources to help the needy and poor rather than continue to trash the Earth?! There was a citizen present that I expressed my upset to and their reply to me was that what I just saw is a daily occurrence at store closing time. As if I needed just one more thing to continue losing Faith because of people on this planet. I will no longer care about donating to the Oregon Humane Society thrift store ever again.

The staff was friendly and got lots of great things, some blouses, a new dog collar, drawer dividers, a brand new dog nail trimmer, and many other small accessories. Thank you and I'll see you again soon :-)

Update: Still one of my favorite charities to support via shopping for needs. The selection is ever changing, and the prices are fair market value. For some reason, I'm always surprised by what I find being offered. Well worth the visit.A classic thrift store, you never know what you'll find. They always seem to have something that I didn't know that I needed until I saw it on their shelves.
