The employees and volunteers here are some of the best people I've met since I've moved to Oregon from California. They have been nothing but kind and helpful.

They work SO hard, It shouldn't go unnoticed. Everyone here deserves immense credit. thank you oregon humane spay and neuter clinic for everything you do. you are so appreciated and amazing.? ?

my kitten when and got fix at this clinic, he came back in a lot of pain a peace of his man hold was dangling off the rest. we took him to the emergency vet and he had to have another surgery just to get it fixed all because they couldn't do the surgery right. I want to add everytime Ive went to look at kittens after they've had surgery at this clinic there all in pain and have no food or dirty water. This animal clinic is not a safe space for our animals to get fixed or spread, nor a good place for these sweet animals to find there forever homes. Im very disappointed and think this animal clinic should be shut down for bad behavior towards animals!!!

I adopted two sibling kittens, and the staff and process were great. I hadn't seen a catio until that visit. Nice touch. Thanks for making better lives for pets, Salem Oregon Humane Society.

Okay, I’ll keep it to the point. When I would call this establishment it provides an automated system, I followed the prompts and waited for someone to pick up in shelter services and No One Did.I understand that people are busy and maybe I just aLwAyS called when someone wasn’t available but my call would disconnect on their end every single time. I waited for 3 minutes for someone in shelter services to pick up and the line disconnected.Every. Single. Time. It’s extremely frustrating. Please answer your phones.

I would have given 5 ? but now the 60 days appointment and no dogs has really hurt me. We acquired a new pup, and I have to get her taken care of and liscensed for the city. I call EVERY DAY for an appointment and get the same message every day to just continue what I'm doing.... for that? 2 ? and that is bc this used to be such a wonderful service to those of us who have no where else to go. I am on disability and cannot afford the prices other vets charge. You guys have spayed or neutered 3 dogs for me and twice the number of cats. I have sung your praises before. This is just disheartening.

Don't bother going to this place. They are of no help. I went to my local vet but they didn't have doctor that day and told me to go here instead. I found a small kitten and brought him in for diarrhea and eye infection and asked if they could take him in. I was worried about him so they took him back to be evaluated and then brought him back after a few minutes and said that it's not an emergency and gave him back to me. I asked if they could tell me how old he was and how I can take care of him, and they just gave me some unhelpful answers. I asked if I could purchase some flea medicine or dewormer, as they thought that's what could be causing the diarrhea and they said no. They told me they can't take him in because they are to busy taking care of other kittens. I asked if they could evaluate him and I would be willing to take care of hI'm and pay for expenses. They said no and told me that I had to fill out an application as they are 4 weeks out. I said well, this little kitten is not going to survive that long if he is not treated. They told me to fill out an application and they would put a rush on it and some one will call me tomorrow to take him in. I again asked to purchase meds for fleas and dewormer and they said well if we are going to take him in tomorrow then you don't need meds now. I said are you sure someone is going to call and they said yes. It's been 3 days and no one has called. No wonder why people abandon their pets, it's impossible to get any help now a days!

I came to have my puppers neutered that I got from Hopes Haven rescue! They did his surgery, shots, microchip, nail trim and sent me home with meds for pain and worming! They only deal with dogs from the rescue but they treated my doggy with love and compassion! Thanks to Hopes Haven for my fur baby,Love him

I was dropping off some dog beds, toys, food and extra leashes and such. We lost all three of our Senior dogs over the last few months so we're not ready yet, but have decided l, that when we are and do find the two that need us as much as we need them, we wanted to start fresh. ( I already bought a toy for the future dogs toy basket ?). If anyone else is going through this awful grief, it felt good having some of their stuff go to dogs waiting for homes. It also gave me the chance to ask some great ladies about bonded pairs, sometimes it's harder for them to get adopted and stay together. And since we want two it would be a great time to look for and help a bonded pair. I highly recommend going there to find your next furry friend. Rescues make the best and most loyal friends. All of our dogs and cats since 1980 have been in one form or the other rescues. We would have missed out on some of the best dogs of ours and our kids lives, if we didn't rescue and we choose to adopt older dogs 4 ish to seniors. I hope you all go find a new family member soon.
