If you live in Oregon it’s just the way it is. Everything is under lock and key. No bags ever. They have so many employees shopping for online orders it’s hard to get any shopping done.

3 registers open and all the self checkouts switched to card only for no reason. Plus they lock everything up and then you can't find your stuff when they say they'll take It to a register. The staff is rude and the ones that aren't move at the speed of an 800 year old turtle. Worst walmart I've been to in my life.

About what you'd expect out of any Walmart. Lower prices and meager customer service on the sales floor. Their Front end and register service is better than other Walmarts. Long lines go especially quick in the self check out where they, of course, wipe down every POS immediately after each customer use. Things to watch out for, first is the fruit and veggie section. If it smells then don't bother. Brown iceberg lettuce and items kept out for sale longer than their shelf life should have been. If you need laundry soap you will have to wait for someone with a key to unlock and take it to the front for you. Same with razors for shaving and other hair removal products Lastly the cookie and cracker aisle is right by their warehouse/ break room doors. There is constant employee traffic through that area.

What’s wrong with this store?
First, the parking security guy ALWAYS comes up behind my car and stares like I’m breathing his air or something, so I avoid this Walmart anytime I can simply for this reason (Walmart+ customer, too, so basically I’m paying extra for this guy to do this…).
Go in, they’re out of TWO of the FOUR items on my shopping list (50% failure right there!).
Go to checkout, looooong lines at checkout so I jumped into the self-checkout line.
Fifteen minute wait just to get to a self-checkout register…
Scanned my three items (two from my list plus a Cherry Coke impulse purchase), try to use the money on my Walmart gift card I’ve added to my wallet in the Walmart app. Nope, wasn’t happening, so I hailed the assistant working the self-checkout area.
Waited for her to come over, she TOOK MY PHONE OUT OF MY HANDS!!! (I mean…REALLY??? Who does that????), but she still couldn’t figure out how to use the gift card on my phone either, so she voided the checkout and had me use the Scan & Go feature available to Walmart+ members.
Did that, a QR code came up on the register, and I had to wait - again - for her to come back and RESCAN all three items before the “Scan & Go” process was complete and I was checked out.
Somewhere around 20 minutes from the time I got into the checkout line until I was done and ready to go.
Now I’m asking myself if Walmart+ is even worth it. It’s DEFINITELY NOT a time saver for checkout.

Self-checkout has gotten even worse. Don't ask Walmart employees working there for help, figure it out yourself. Save yourself some time and frustration because they D*AMNED sure don't know how things work.

I made a HUGE order to be delivered. All were supposed to be delivered between 12 and 2pm. The most important item was delivered at 10am. We weren't even home so it was left outside. Good thing it wasn't raining.

All I have to say is CHECK WHAT they ring up!!!
I just caught the checker over charging me by $98!!! Double scanning my groceries!!! Then when I said something the worker tried to fight my husband!!! I can’t believe this when prices are high and now I gotta stress on getting ripped off!! So if your visiting this north Salem location be aware of the checker/cashier and check your receipt and be advised that you might have to fight for your right to not get ripped off!!!

Wasn't super busy between the time of 1:30-2:30.
Went in for oil. The mobile one was low in stock.
But I was there for the valvoline 5-30 dexos1.
Almost 27$ for the 5qt but there oil my car likes.

They put one price and then when you check your receipt there’s a higher price. Bring your app with you to scan items and see the ACTUAL price.

Big store, good selections. Only problem is that all staff treat every single customer like criminals.
