Make the pharmacist count your controlled substances in front of you. I have had hydrocodone shorted for month, along with others. When I made the girl count my pain killers in front of me they were 6 short. Not the first time.

Horrible experience from pharmacy staff ! On Saturday they close at six o'clock and we waited in the drive thru for twenty minutes with only two cars in front of us ! When we got to the window it was 6:05! We were the last car! No one was behind us they ignored us and closed up the window in front of us ! The meds I take I need daily! And when we asked them to take us they said the register was already closed down! I didn't get my meds ! The staff in pharmacy needs to learn to be compassionate and work on speed!

The doctor sent a prescription, and the insurance approved the prescription, but it seems like the pharmacy electronic system is not compatible!Multiple calls to the doctor and the insurance to problem solve, with a lot of time wasted?When you call the pharmacy, you are put on hold for 10 minutes, then they hang up!Definitely will be looking for another pharmacy

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable every time! They are always pleasant and ready to help. Seems to have good stock at this location. One of the best pharmacies in Salem. West Salem Wallace Road.

This West Salem Walgreens used to be a great store. It has really gone down hill. Went in to get a passport photo today. The clerk took my name and phone number. Went back in 5 hours later and one of the "managers" was there. No photo. The SD card isn't working, which he said has been a problem. He said he wasn't told anything when he came on shift about my photo. I asked if it would be policy for the clerk to call me and let me know it couldn't be done, so I'd know to go elsewhere. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers?Also, the store has been very dirty. I've asked when the janitor might be coming in. I was told they don't have one to do floors and someone on each shift is supposed to be cleaning them.Is everyone still using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and lack of help?

Waited in drive thru line to pick up prescription for 35 minutes just to be next in line to see them slap up a sign that they are short staffed and the drive through is closed.

In general, Walgreen's in West Salem is okay. My wife and I had influenza and covid vaccines in late October. But in mid- to late-November we travelled to Denver and came home very sick. Thought at first it was Covid, but testing later confirmed it was Influenza A. It appears that their vaccine was entirely ineffective.

Horrible experience!!!My 2:45 COVID booster appointment was finally honored at 3:37 today. I would probably have waited longer for the technician to step away from the drive-up window if I had not complained. I understand that it’s hard to find pharmacy technicians these days, But, if you don’t have the staff to keep appointments, don’t make them! My last booster at the Center St. CVS was administered right on time and they’re short on techs too. Back to Target for me!

As far as pharmacies go this one is a little bit busier than most so it makes it a little more frustrating. I've had my pilled counts off a few times. Nothing was done about it nobody followed up about it. I seriously consider people to switch to Safeway pharmacy if you are stuck in West Salem to help ease the burden from this pharmacy.

CUSTOMER'S BEWARE: Early this morning my Dr called in a prescription to help me with my coughing. I was told it would be awhile as they was understaffed. It was approx 7:17 pm and when I called the pharmacist said they could not fill it because the company doesn't have the right dosage that my prescription called for. This place could of called me early in the day to explain why my medication wasn't filled. By the time I learned this my Doctos office was closed and all the pharmacy's. Now I have to go bed coughing and have a restless night. My rib cage been hurting because of coughing. This place is the worse on all levels.

All the pharmacy staff are always as helpful each and every time I go inside or go through the drive thru window. They always make me feel as if my needs are important to them and always ask if I need help or have any questions. They're very professional and caring.

Slow as hell wait to drop off a prescriptions and took 30 minutes. And there was only two people ahead of me.
