Took my Jetta in for service when the check engine light came on. Scanned it myself before calling, it was throwing a p164e code (faulty oil pressure regulator) but it was under warranty so I brought it to them. They told me it had a recall for an ecm update and that would fix the problem. Took half the day off work so they could do the fix, and driving home the light came back on, surprise! Immediately drove it back and was informed that the tech had gone home and I could return tomorrow. I asked if I could just leave it there for the night, they responded yes. I then asked for a loner car, to which they explained they do not do loners, however they do rental cars for $35 a day. Fine I think to myself, it’s for one day and ask for the rental. “We don’t have any rentals right now” SMH! So they fix my car today, ready for the shocker? It had a p164e code! The oil pressure regulator needed to be replaced!! Did they even scan the car when I brought it in the first time? What a joke. So I get in my car in the parking lot and someone had rifled through all my receipts in the door, my charging cable was in the middle of the foot well, some random piece of plastic about a foot long that was obviously broken off something was in the middle of my trunk. And someone stole my $40 pen! Never going back, do not suggest anyone take their vehicle there. Gave them two stars because they did replace a fuse for free.

I’ve taken my car here for repairs/service a few times. This time I was told for what needed to be fixed would usually take 3 days. After the diagnostic I was told it would be 2 weeks. They no longer offer loaner cars and I would need to pay at least $25 a day for a rental. Lucky I was able to use a family members car. Fast forward 2 weeks and 4 days I call and was told it would be another 2-3 days. I’m just a little sad there was no communication the entire 3 weeks they had my car.

They just had the most organic and healthy workplace environment. I genuinely enjoyed being there, and everyone seems so happy. I felt no pressure to buy either! Plus their social media pages are outstanding, funny, and well informative!

This team was amazing! I just bought a new beetle from a different company and my stereo code was not provided and I went here to Volkswagen of Salem and they helped me get it and it feels good to have some music now! Thank you so much! You guys rock! Such friendly and caring people that work there!

Our sales rep, Paige Burchfield, was friendly, helpful, and professional. She got us the terms we needed to complete the sale.Dave, at finance, was equally friendly and professional. I'd recommend Volkswagen of Salem to any of my friends and associates who are thinking of purchasing a vehicle.

This is an extremely helpful dealership with very friendly and easy going staff. I don't post reviews on really anything except for once on a local mechanic in my area, and the people here definitely deserve a resounding thank you and my appreciation for being so kind and understanding and helpful.If you happen to be looking for a new car in their lot, i highly recommend heading over to them and giving it a test drive. You'll more than likely leave with the car when you do, I'm sure.

I recently purchased a used car from Volkswagen, a Ford. It was a car with many, many problems. Volkswagen tried to repair the car but it was not an easy task. I talked to JJ, the boss guy, and after trying to make this car work for me and me getting frustrated, with the car, he bought the car back from me! He turned the situation around for me. He was very kind. Also, Ben in the service department was very nice and caring about my situation. This was a car purchased for a 16 year old and I did not want to buy an expensive newer model car. They worked with me on a bad situation and they made it right! Not every car dealer would do so much for a customer, but they did. I appreciate very much. Thanks for what you did for us.

My boyfriend had a car dropped off around 3 months ago due to “twisted pistons” in his engine. He was still able to drive his vehicle but it knocked so loud and he felt it was dangerous to drive. Once we sent the car in they took the engine out of his vehicle and took it apart. Then we would try calling and nobody would pick up the phone to tell us how it was coming along. His sister bought a car from them and sent it in to be serviced, she was then told her engine was going to blow so she needed to get a new car. When his dad went in with his sister he had asked what was going on they had told him they were rebuilding the engine but told us they were purchasing a new engine. Finally today they called us about the engine they had purchased and the engine they had sent is damaged as well now and they had told us several weeks ago that the car was going to he ready in two weeks exc. They had also told us that they thought they gave us a rental car for the time being and once he told them he had yet to receive one they think they gave it to someone else. I just want to understand why nobody there is communicating very well with each other and the owner of the vehicle on what is being done. It’s so frustrating that nobody is on the same page and everyone is being told different things. He hasn’t had his car the beginning of all this he hasn’t had his car since April. I’m not sure what they are going to do to fix this but in my opinion this is garbage.

Greeting your customer could use some work. I know I just showed up right when they opened but also being assertive and having a little more enthusiasm wouldn't hurt. I knew what was being done and approximately how long it should take, and I respect that he over estimated the time my vehicle could be done. Went to get breakfast then got the text in the middle of enjoying my food that my vehicle was done! And 2 hours before I was expecting!

I drove specifically here for my car and Igor was my salesman. He was awesome, funny, and nice. Every other person I interacted with at the the dealership was also very friendly. Thank you all for a good experience and a brand new car! ✨️

Purchased a new Jetta online with the help of Miguel who was excellent. Also completed the final paperwork with Lexi and Mike who did an amazing job. Made my first new car purchase an easy experience.

I completed a cash deal and selected an EV vehicle that was in transit. While the purchasing portion was pretty easy, the vehicle was only half charged and thus we had to stop and charge it in order to get home. Also, the tire pressure light came on during the drive home. There was no sales associate onsite that knew about the vehicle so I was provided very little help in trying to figure everything out on it before we left the lot.

The sales rep, Sam, and the finance manager, Jesse, were very personable, which made the purchasing process easygoing. No pushy salesman pitches or forceful sales tactics. I would highly recommended coming here for your new or used car purchase.
