I have lived, worked, and studied and seven states in this country, yet Salem, Oregon, has absolutely the worst postal system I have ever had had to experience! I don’t receive mail for days on end, mail is lost, or mail is never received!!I have important letters that have been sent to my home yet never arrive. If I could, I would leave Salem Oregon specifically just to get my mail delivered to my home!

This is my favorite post office in Salem. The people who work here are very kind and helpful, and they aren’t super strict with how i packaged my item and stuff. Other post offices will constantly nag me about how big or small the envelope is or whatever. They don’t do that to me here. They actually ship the item without any problems.

Have never had a bad experience here always positive as a matter of fact one of the staff went out of her way to help me create a package that would fit all of my items and not cost me a fortune very helpful ??

Worst post office I've visited in a long time. It's so old and run down that I feel dirty after visiting, there is no self-service machine, and the staff is quite rude. Cap that with the fact that the post office is running cash grabs for anything that they can charge you for, and my visit was a very unimpressive one. They forced me to buy a label from them and hand write the addresses, just so that they could print their own label with a printed address and have me verify that it was correct on their digital signature pad. I don't care what logic you use, this makes no sense at all.

l have no idea where the main post office in Salem, Oregon is, but, last week, about, 08-13-23, l had a package addressed to Monmouth, Oregon... it went from Salem to Newport... why??? Do the sorters and store cashiers go to the same schools???

Customer service is great. They charged me $400 annually and I didn't realize they were closed on Saturdays... I never experienced a post office closed on Saturdays, so I didn't think to check. My fault. This means I don't have access to my Dropbox until Monday? And after work I have to rush to get my packages? Hm... I'll ask for a refund.

I have paid it's $160 a year now, so my mail and packages will be secure. Yesterday we went to our box and found a key for the package locker, opened the locker, empty. The postal workers looked a bit in the back and said "just a treat it like it was delivered to your home and was stolen". What??? What, I ask do I pay for?

This is an awesome location for dropping off packages and letters. Or to set up your own Post Office Box. The employees were super helpful. The building is really clean. I give it 5 stars!

Went to inquire on a piece of my incoming mail that was addressed to an incorrect PO BOX. I was cut off, mid question and told there was nothing she could do. I was stunned and left after this interaction and will not be renewing my PO BOX at this location.
