It's a post office so nothing to write home about you know.

The employee, Troy, working at the Passport/Customer Service Desk was very rude and unprofessional today. I was in line behind a few customers who had appointments for passports. One of the customers went to get something from the other mails area. While waiting, Troy put out the Passport Walk-in Sheet, at which point I stated I wasn’t there for a Passport. The customer in front of me told me to go to Troy and state that. As he was still helping the previous customer, I waited. Once he was done, I approached with a smile and asked if I was in the right place to pick up my mail key. Troy instantly accused me of having an attitude and went on to argue with me about it Once he scooted his office chair accord the floor to get my key (too lazy to stand up?) another customer waiting in a chair tapped my shoulder and gave me a thumbs up and a smile. I was extremely embarrassed as I had every intention of being polite considering there’s a sign posted on the billboard behind his desk that says “Please talk nicely ;)”

I’ve had problems with expensive packages and important mail like a SOCIAL SECURITY CARD!!!, a CHECK, my contact lenses, glasses that were very freaking expensive etc. etc. not being delivered to my address ever since I moved to this zip code, 97317. I’ve also received mail that is not mine (someone’s W2, people’s health insurance letters) that didn’t even match my address. I went and delivered personally because I can, apparently, do the job better than the carrier. In the last year I’ve had to file so many missing packages claims online. The first time was over a year ago and the manager called me, was kind and understanding however, my package never appeared. The other times I just gave up because I kept getting a “there was a problem submitting your Service Request”. I’m very exhausted of having to go there personally and complain every other month. The claim process is very long and most often the not, they never find your mail or package. I’m currently waiting on keys for my mailbox since I moved for about 2 months now. This last time I was waiting on an important package it said delivered in garage or other door, I was home went outside to check and the package was no where to be found. I went to the office a couple of hours after and they said they couldn’t geo locate it, so that’s great! Hope everyone that reads this has a wonderful day and never has to complain about “lost” mail or packages.

I've never had a problem with any of the employees here until today. Since we've been waiting on a new mailbox and mailbox key, my brother and I usually pick up the mail for everyone in the household, because not everyone can go during their business hours. Every time I would go, I would explain the situation and they would give me all of the mail as long as the last names matched to the address change I submitted. Today, I was helped by an older guy named Rey and he was very disrespectful. When I explained that I had been getting all of the mail for my whole family, he wanted the names of all of the workers who had been helping me prior and threatened to report them to his boss. Like why?? He was very rude, seemed extremely upset at the situation, and was making a big scene about it in front of many customers. I honestly didn't think my request was such a big deal. You can't work customer service if you cannot control your emotions. And I know there is a policy, but they should at least make it known how you can get around it for people with valid reasons.

Passport office guy needs to be trained in customer service! He was on his personal call on speaker, so unprofessional and on company time ? I was standing there confused for a while trying to figure out what application to fill. Yea should have asked but he was on the phone. But I ended up filling out the wrong application my bad for not asking but at least he cloud of been nice about it. I get it, it was almost time to go home. After that he then said we don’t take walk ins Fridays. But you see me there and I guess his personal call was more important but can’t give me heads up or ask if I had an appointment? There was No sign at the door that said specific days it only said walk ins at 4pm.

Terrible attention from the boy who attends the passport area, he has no patience and treats people badly and does not know how to explain the process well, he has a terrible attitude with some people, in my case he has made me go 7 times and all of them have given a different excuse for not serving us, not if he does it out of racism or because he does it, but with Latinos he acts very badly and treats them badly.??

Helpful, effective, kind, straight up with communication; what more could I ask for. They should get more community support and government funding for their efforts in an understaffed and likely underpaid position. ♡ ya'll

Was calling for work, gave up after an hour of trying to reach someone. All voicemail boxes, or a single shared voicemail box(?), was/were full. No one would answer. Not that it matters, but we're $250k+ monthly in postage, and honestly, with that kind of volume, I would ignore my business too.

Always have a great experience here, they are always really helpful and do the best they can. Is someone doesn't know something they will do their best to help but might just ask you to come back when someone who knows is back in the office. As for the passport requiring appointment that is normal and for those complaining about it, you never do big trip stuff last minute that is something that should be looked into and done a couple months in advance. Don't blame USPS employees for the policy's.

I went to the get my passport renewed yesterday, and had the best experience! Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Troy in the passport office is super helpful and knows his job in and out! I saw this staff on a audit video on YouTube. They were pleasant in that video and in my experience. The workers at the front counters in this post office are exemplary workers.

Every time I come to pick up a form for my passport renewal they have the door lock and some rude lady that was there helping a customer kept on staring as I’m trying to open the door but wouldn’t open it for me! ITS NOT EVEN 5pm YET!!! I rushed to get here and been trying to come during my breaks but seems to always be locked and it’s just really stressful having to deal with this and specially with really bad customer service by having your doors locked when it’s still not time to close yet orrrrrr change your hrs, but let’s make common sense here , if you see a customer trying to open the door at least have someone come towards you to ask if there’s anything you can help with, since it’s not even 5pm yet like I said, I’m picking up a form and the lady that’s there was useless, you guys need better staff tbh!!
