Insurance is a necessity and finding an insurance company that will adequately cover your home and house is a must. Uptown reviewed our current situation, made some suggestions that most normally don't talk about and saved me 12k. Quick response and good people to work with.

Brandon is THE best!! First of all, he saved me money. But progressive could have saved me money.Brandon is pleasant and kind, but more than that, but when my car caught on fire while I was on a road trip, this guy took the call while he was on a river in an inner tube!!! This guy is so dedicated!He was first interested in making sure we were safe and emotionally ok, and then he figured out all the logistics for me to my car, get back to Oregon, etc.He is awesome. THE best.

I've had a good experience with uptown they can find you the best insurance rates..u may not always get a response right away but their pretty good about returning calls and messages ..the Covid has put a damper on things.

My experience with Uptown Insurance and Brandon McElroy specifically is that they provide their customers with high quality people. Brandon is a former Navy Aircraft Mechanic who helps new home buyers with their home insurance. He has an ability to make the conversations consultative, makes the process easy and gives them the best options in terms of adding value and staying within a budget. In my conversation with Brandon, listened to my questions and gave me straight forward, non-insurancy answers. I really liked how our conversation went and look forward to continuing seeing Brandon and Uptown Insurance, not as sales people, but as part of my team.

I would not recommend this company at all for service! I have to give 1 star or else I cant post, but I would give a zero. They completely made an error on my billing which withdrew my account which I had originally called in three weeks prior to the payment to have the date changed. The broker helping me said he thought he did it correct, but didn't realize there was another step that was involved in changing a payment date. Need I mention that he has been selling insurance for awhile and had no clue how to properly change a payment?? There has been no apology from this company- and I was also told how "everyone in their office is talking about me" which is beyond unprofessional. It is not fun having your insurance policy in the hands of a company where they treat their customers poorly, they are disrespectful and when they make an error that they do NOTHING to correct or fix things on their end- but try and have you feel horrible, speak poorly to you. The agent also told me he would fix the error, which he never did and I almost had my whole policy cancelled because he never fixed the payment- which I got a 1 day notice to try and fix a problem that this company caused. I am very disappointed with the treatment, service, and non professional attitudes. I would highly recommend doing research or finding a better company to put your families trust in, because I am beyond shocked at the treatment of this company and how they did nothing but tell me how horrible of a person I am and to be told how in the office im being talked about. I will admit that I was upset the first time I called so I am not saying I was calm talking to them, but when the error occurred of over-drafting my account, being hung up on, being blamed for the issue (even though I called in advance to change)- who would not be mad and upset when a company that completely messed up did nothing to help or fix the situation and then talk down to you. Pretty sure anyone would be upset with the treatment I've experienced- when they originally made an error and I had to spend all day on the phone with my bank and Safeco to fix his error- since he or Uptown wasn't capable of fixing the issue. Would have been nice to have an apology at least or treated in some way professional. I am dealing with cancer and have a lot of stress going on and I guess had higher expectations of this company of being treated properly and or a simple kindness of trying to fix an error they made.
