Employee Alex is extremely rude and lacks basic customer service skills. I get it, it’s a Gas Station, but when people are pleasant and Kind to you there is absolutely no reason to be condescending and rude. This is the 3rd time in a row Alex has been an absolute jerk during a stop at this location. He’s an issue that needs to be looked at. Ill will be taking my business elsewhere.

The only convenience store I've been to that makes you wait to buy your drinks for 10 minutes for a shift change. It has happened multiple times. Not stopping there before work anymore.

Really great place to go get some breakfast hot food they have really good breakfast breakfast balls and also apple pie balls they have an assortment of corn dogs and some chicken and chicken strips and chicken sandwich they got a bunch of good stuff $⁰⁰.99 breakfast loaded hash browns highly recommended.

Just stopped for gas. Received excellent service from a very pleasant employee. If I'm ever in the area again, this will be my fill-up place. As for high prices, it's worth the kind service

Very hard to come in and get gas.At this locatiand they only have two pumps And Both self-service. I recommend going to one down the street then at this 1.

I have been a customer of this gas station since we bought our house a few blocks up the hill in 2013. We come here daily to buy really anything, gas for our 2 cars, coffee in the morning, sodas, beer, lottery, chips, and candy for our children….it is our go-to convenience store in the neighborhood, where I know a couple of employees by their names (I checked on their wellbeing when they were robbed at gunpoint a few months back). Today I went on a morning walk and stopped by to get my coffee with my fillable cup. When I arrived there and was ready to pour, I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home, so I asked them if I could pour it, walk uphill and come back to pay them. To my absolute amazement, I was told “no” by an employee and the store manager (Angela). When I asked why, while she admitted she knew me, her response was “not all customers come back”. I pointed out I was asking them to trust me for one dollar and they saw me on a daily basis…I have never felt so insulted in my life!. I can’t get over this insulting comment, this terrible customer service, and poor business shortsightedness… And I really wonder…would I receive this lack of trust and type of comment if I didn’t have a heavy Mediterranean foreign accent? I really think I would not….So goodbye to our business, Chevron and Merritt #1 (name of the family who owns this gas station and a few others in Salem).

Love the staff there. Always pleasant and nice, and they put up with a lot! Clean store and fresh donuts too!

With the inflation currently, it's appalling to see a price fixing; short of allies. Disturbing behavior towards your community and reputed neighbors.Don't buy gas here if you want to pay $1 or more a gallon.

They always have the most expensive gas prices in town. Look for another gas station and save yourself some money.

Just went to the store for the first time today. Their staff is amazing! The place was spotless, the staff friendly and attentive. When they welcomed me it truly seemed they meant it. I am more than impressed, by a gas station!

Don't ever buy gas here, unless you want to pay almost a dollar more per gallon than any other gas station in the area.
