They have various pickles including lime pickle, my favorite, and paneer cheese and other hard to find ingredients. So glad it's local for me because I want to learn to cook better Indian food.

Always friendly and have a large variety of DIY food items you won't find on the shelf at the typical grocery store. A lot of items are used in many kinds of dishes all over the world, but the ingredients are inconvenient if not non-existent to obtain. Not here ! I bet they have it !

The only Indian store in the Salem area. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They don’t have the largest of collection but pretty much have all the basic necessities for Indian cooking.The lady is also very helpful is finding things in the store if you are lost. I usually am able to find some fresh vegetables in the store but otherwise they do let you know if they are going to be in stock soon

This is the only place in Salem that sells the dried marrowfat peas that I love so much, as well as specialty spice blends, rice, and candy from the sub-continent. It also smells fantastic from the spices.

My wife and I were visiting Salem, and we stopped here to restock our Indian ingredients on a late Saturday afternoon. The store is small but well organized, clean and air-conditioned (it was 91° outside). After talking to the clerk, he has stated that it was hard to get some items, or keep a constant supply due to shipment issues. A couple items we were looking for were mango puree for mango lassi's and halal chicken, but both were sold out, with new stocks arriving on a weekly basis.They have a good supply of fresh vegetables that were very high quality, and all prices were reasonable, slightly cheaper than the Indian grocery store in Corvallis.The clerk was a young man, wearing a mask, very friendly and knowledgeable.4 stars for small size and out of stocks, but otherwise I recommend it.
