I brought my cream suit with rose petal stains in at 10 and they had it done same day, cleaned it, pressed it, and made it look brand new! They were also super nice when I spoke with them prior, over the phone at 945.

I took a 100 year old garment belonging to my great aunt to this establishment. Not only did they clean the garment, but the service professional gave me professional insight about the chemical impact of a human body's chemistry as it relates to fabric. I was pleased with the service and am happy that I can remember my great aunt by having her former garment cared for and clean.

We have been taking our dry-cleaning to Sparkle Cleaners for the past 12 years. It's an hour drive... Because Mr. Kim and his crew (thinking today of Eric and Maureen) do such a great job with onsite laundry, onsite dry-cleaning, and repairs, we're glad to make the travel work out. A pair of ripped jeans: repaired so we'll get years of additional use - the repair only noticeable if you know to look for it. Off-white silk skirt, blouse and sweater for my mother to wear to an upcoming wedding: old stains gone, beautifully pressed, ready for the wedding. When I need a shirt laundered and starched: it goes to Sparkle and they prepare it handsomely. All this for a fair price. Friendly and expert. Sparkle Cleaners in Salem is our only choice.

I don't understand the low reviews here. They've always done a fantastic job with my items of all materials and sizes. They're quick, reasonably priced and very friendly. They also use an eco-friendly cleaning solution which I've found to be easier on fabric (in addition to the environment). I highly recommend them for all drycleaning and professional wet cleaning.

Make sure you confirm the price before you leave. My 3rd visit the Asian guy decided on his own without notifying me to charge me $3.50 per pound instead of the quoted $2.50. No reason given apart from clothes cost extra for wash and fold. When asked what else is there besides clothes to wash and fold he said towels!! Refused to pay and price was dropped back to $2.50. Be Careful!!

My wife recently brought in her dress that is for our daughters wedding. It is a satin dress that as we did find out is sensitive to staining by water. She thought she had touched it with her hands still wet and there was a light discoloration left. She took it to Sparkle to ask them if they were able to take the stain out. The gentleman at the front took the dress to the back, he came back and said, not we cant get it out. But when she looked at it there were two more stains. She told him she hadn't given them permission to try and get the discoloration out but if they could. She pointed out that there were not more even more noticeable stains that were not there before he took the dress. He said sorry we cant do anything about the stains and asked if she wanted it pressed. She again said that there were not stains like that on it before he took it and he just said there isn't anything they could do.He didn't offer to pay to replace the dress they ruined, or compensate at all. He basically said "that's too bad". We are having to order another dress and have it expressed shipped adding more cost so we get it in time for the wedding.Avoid this business at all costs, there are plenty of other cleaners in town who would honor their customers and take care of them.In the photos I tried to highlight the stains, the stains are a darker color but because of the sheen they look white.

The 2 women at the front desk are the rudest people I have met in a retail outlet in Salem. They treated me both unprofessionally and I felt it was a obnoxious. Having gone into this establishment earlier in the day I asked the woman at the desk if they could dry clean some upholstered cushions and she said, "Yes". I asked her how much they charge and she stated, " You have to bring them in so that I can see them." She also anecdotally stated, that they, "don't clean them at this facility but they send them out." I returned about an hour later with the cushions to get a price estimate but now there was a second women at the front desk. I explained why I was there with my cushions and requested a quote. This new woman who decided to interrupt my discussion with the 1st woman, abruptly told me that they have to send these out and there was no way they could give me a price quote. I addressed the 1st woman and asked her why she asked me to bring the cushions in? The woman I had previously spoken with became very defensive and stated 3 times that she told me that they sent them out interrupting me each time. Finally, being fed up with being interrupted and fed absolute lies from this 1st woman that I yelled back at her and said this is not what she said and to let me finish my stayement of fact. The 2nd woman arrogantly pointed at me and shouted meanfully to get out! I urge people to not do business with this establishment as the 2 women in the front that I met today we're not only rude and defensive, but unprofessional, obnoxious and totally non-customer oriented. I personally know the owner, Mr. Kim, who was my neighbor and I feel it necessary for him to know that these women are very negative representatives of his business and I will strongly urge people not to do business simply because of these miscreant women. I noticed 2 other reviews that were negative in regard to people at the front desk. I'm assuming that at least one of these two women have shown their negative attitude to others. I am absolutely astonished that either of these 2 women can hold on to a job that has face-to-face representation with customers on a daily basis.
