Went in with my elderly mother to look at lift chairs, Alan had been so kind in taking time to help us with the prices of dealing with Senior and Disabled Services. Above and beyond the call! Would recommend them any day!

I just returned this minute from a visit to your store. I have purchased numerous items in the past and spent thousands of dollars previously. Today, I dealt with Alan and I have to say I have never been more insulted shopping in my life. He showed no interest in our inquiry from the very beginning of our conversation. We had mentioned a piece we saw at Ashley's and wondered if you could offer us a higher quality alternative. He was dismissive and actually said, "if you were smarter" to us. Before we left he said, "we tried." I don't know if he was trying to fool us or himself, but I do know one thing I will never set foot in your store again; I will encourage my friends to do the same; if I could, I would gladly drive a U-haul to the store and dump everything I have ever purchased from you at your door. It was such a demeaning experience that I stood at the open door of my car debating whether or not to go back and tell him just what I thought of him but doubted it would have resulted in an apology.

I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars! My husband and I ordered a custom-made armchair and the entire experience from A to Z was STELLAR.First of all, my husband and I look pretty young, and we find (too often) that salespeople don’t take us seriously, don’t talk to us, etc. and it drives our business away. But at Sid’s, we found the sales professionals kind and genuine. We felt at home and taken seriously. The salesperson was so helpful and made the process very smooth. Our chair had to be custom-made from scratch in Portland and they estimated it would take 2 months to arrive.The chair arrived faster, and the company followed up with timely and kind-hearted communication prior to and day-of delivery. The delivery people brought it right up to where it needed to go, with a smile. Again, I can’t rate Sid’s high enough. Next time we need furniture, we will 100% be back!

September 2021 we purchased a couch, chair and two ottomans for an ungodly amount of money. Brand Bernhardt which is an American made company out of North Carolina I believe. The furniture is absolute trash! The couch has zero support left after not even a year, I have the throw pillows underneath the cushions for support which looks super classy let me tell you, I’ll have to take photos. For the amount of money we spent it was a totally rip off! (As a military family I would not spend your money here) The fabric isn’t even holding up! I wish I would have just boughten a Costco couch! Shame on you Sids for selling such garbage!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Joanna Hall. After visiting several local furniture stores and not finding what I was looking for, Joanna quickly understood exactly what I wanted and showed me several options. She was very knowledgeable and made selection suggestions I was delighted with. I truly appreciate her great customer service and will certainly recommend Sid's and Joanna to everyone. And I am happy to say I was able to purchase a couch made locally!

We have purchased several couches, a dining room set, comfy chairs from Sids over about 25 years. The quality has stood the test of time. The showroom is massive and the selection is good. We continue to look there first when we need furniture.

I was dressed to move to a home in NW Salem from Portland. Never have I ever been asked instantly what price point I was looking at LOL . I worked for Nordstrom and was a pace setter there for years, I'd be fired if I dare asked that question and in a rude way to be exact. I will never give business to this establishment nor will anyone I know .

Nice furniture store in downtown Salem. It's very deceiving in size from outside. Once you walk in you quickly realizing there are many floors of furniture and a whole basement with just chairs. They care top name brand furniture.

Customer service was horrible! Walked around for 15 minutes before anyone ventured over to help me. Finally, once a floor associate did to assist me, they were flat out rude and didn't seem interested in being there any more than I did at that point. I do not recommend this place, period.

Shopped here 2 times and had terrible experiences. The first time I was stalked as I read in other reviews. Even after telling salesperson I preferred to look around and then ask questions. The second time when I exited the store into the parking lot there was a nasty note on my windshield that said the parking lot was for "Sid's customers only and that my license plate number had been recorded and I would be towed. How's that for customer relations.
