Super clean store, excellent product selection. Staff gp out of their way to help you find d the right product. Prices are very competitive too. Great place to shop. I can't wait to go back there again.

The deli at this safeway is by far the worst everytime I come to his deli its always a bad experience I have tried to give them a couple chances but I will never again come to this safeway
1 issue Sandwiches never stocked.
2 issus jojos and straps are never fresh I understand cooking them and they sit but everytike I came for jonos and straps they are hard barley and barley warm.
3 issue the workers in the deli have the worst attitudes ever and never make me feel welcomed.
4 they never want to make fresh sandwiches everytime I have wanted a sandwitch I have been told sorry I can't make one right now you can grab one from the packaed sandwich section that barley has any sandwiches stocked anyways .

This Safeway is Freezing produce like strawberries... Bought a whole 2 lbs and the whole thing was completely frozen.. Unacceptable then I called and the "manager" Tina was rude to me when I asked why they are frozen ended up hanging up on me... Again unacceptable and unprofessional

Clean store. Friendly employees. Might be small and in a rougher area of Salem, but it's a pleasant shopping experience even at 10 pm.

Had been craving Safeway Chinese food. Very disappointing chicken almost to hard to chew. Both express special and Supreme combo (all 3 entres) were almost to hard to eat.

I love everything about this safeway except 2 of the customer service people one works at self check out and one at customer service in the morning . To be honest I avoid going there now if I can which is a bummer because it's close to my house and I get my money orders here. Every single time though the girl behind the counter with short hair is always very short with me and rolls her eyes oh and heaven forbid you ask for multiple things in one transaction. I completely understand working in retail is awful I've worked in it for over 13 years now but it's not an excuse to be rude and I hate to say but the hidden eye rolls and underbreath sighs are enough to make me not want to come back and if I do avoid the customer service counter all together which is kinda sad if you ask me. Customer service people designated to the counter should be somewhat pleasant, atleast in my opinion.
