Excellent customer service & well stocked place. I called hoping to find a screw for a vintage machine. They didn’t have this very particular item but were very kind. An hour later they called back. Someone walked in with that SAME machine for trade. He called to say he had the screws in his hand and I’m still in shock. We drove up and he didn’t even charge me for anything. Shane made my day!

Fast, straightforward and helpful. I brought in two machines and they helped me decide what might be worthwhile to repair, then replaced the belt on the older machine to see if it needed more than that before taking it in for service. The belt turned out to be all it needed. They saved me time and money by giving me the info I needed to decide what to do.

STAY AWAY! Incredibly rude staff and what they charge for a simple repair is outrageous, they tried to say it was going to be double even though we had already paid and gotten a final invoice.

I took my 35 - 40 year old machine in for repair, but after learning the price of a tune-up, I thought maybe a new one might be a better option. The friendly gentleman behind the counter gladly showed me a variety of machines in my price range. I opted to upgrade to an electronic Brother machine after he showed me the cute 'Heart' stitch. You also receive a 15% discount on supplies plus regular servicing of your machine for 3 years. There is a fun Quilting Bee event too. I would recommend them based on my experience.

I'm always doing something to my 3 machines. I take it on and they fix it right away. Usually for free! It's the only place to go to buy or service your machines!

Brought my sewing machine in to be repaired the staff was very friendly. Shane helped us with picking out a new sewing machine and walked me through how to use the machine. And let me try it before purchasing it. I will be going back to them.

This is an updated review as I had previously given this business a 2 star rating. My friend and I went back to Paramount to look for a specific fabric as even though our previous experience was lacking, they do have a large selection of batiks and solids. This time was different. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and offered assistance and asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for. My friend and I were shocked. We declined help but when I was standing by the long armer, a gentleman began to explain the process to me and even got me a card of a local long armer. Checkout was equally pleasant and the young man helping us asked us if we had found what we needed and gave us the quilt hop brochure. This experience was so positive that I will definitely come back for my quilting needs and I live a 1/2 hour away. Good job getting rid of the grumpy employees who very easily could have ruined this business. We will be back

I would have given this store 5 stars if I were greeted when I first walked in. As you walk in to the left was a table of fabric that was on sale so I checked that out first. The lady behind the counter was on the phone. After she hung up I was still browsing through the sale fabric. She didn't acknowledge me at all even though we were about 3 feet apart. They have a wonderful selection of quilting fabric. I was impressed by how much fabric there was at a sewing & vacuum store. There's also notions and some quilting books.The other woman working there wasn't friendly either. Even when I brought up my fabric to be cut, I got a chilly reception from the first lady by the front door.

If I could give 10 stars to Paramount I would!! My husband was referred to Paramount when he was looking to take in my old sewing machine for a tune-up. I was having so much trouble and I tried to adjust it myself but it still wasn't sewing correctly so I was convinced it needed a tune-up. My husband got me my Brothers sewing machine about 22 years ago and it has been a good machine and I have used it so much over the years. So my husband took my machine into Paramount who said it would cost about 99.00 and so about a day later we get a call that it was ready!! I was so excited to get my sewing machine back because I had a new project ready for it. When we went to pick it up they said we owed $2.99 I thought maybe it was to far gone but no that wasn't it.....that was the cost of the metal bobbins that I needed to use instead of the plastic bobbins that I had been using. OMG!!! It is so nice to do business with honest and trustworthy people. I was blown away, they could have rightly charged me because after all they looked at my machine and made adjustments. That was such a nice and refreshing surprise!!! Thank you Paramount!!! PS - I just finished sewing a dress for my granddaughter and it turned out beautiful and my machine ran like new!! #saynotoplasticbobbin
