"This feels like a brand new bow!" Those were the only words that could come out of my mouth once I shot my 3-year old Mathews V3 after Ray gave it an overhaul.I had taken it to two other "high-end" Pro shops here in Oregon, and none of them even bothered to check if my bow string was even done to speck: my ATA was over 5/16 inches off! Ray caught this issue right away, and proceeded to take his time to ensure that my bow was taken care of properly. Not rushed. Just precise work from top to bottom. The end result? Arrows stacking, crisp back wall, rock-steady hold, and aggressive punch down-range. I guess I had never really felt what a Mathews V3 should feel like before I took it to Pacific Crest Archery. On top of all that, what really hit me differently was the kindness that Ray extended to me and my family… I wasn't treated like an nuisance for asking questions.Definitely worth an hour drive for me from Eugene!

Practiced here when I was a kid. I haven’t stepped through the door in probably 20 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see Ray still doing what he does best. Great guy. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be returning more frequently.

They are closed until October 3rd and that was not communicated on their website. Drove a while because they are the closest shop and was disappointed when I arrived. Would help to call them before you decide to head their way!

Have shot but never owned my own bow. The owner Ray and his wife are very knowledgeable about the sport. Ray walked me through the whole process, letting me test multiple bows, tuning and fitting me exactly to what I needed. I got 30 days on the range, and Ray is not short of tips, tricks, or stories that have helped me spark a fire to transition from rifle to bow this season. Highly recommend this local shop.

I wanted to be an archer since I was a young child, but for reasons that need not be divulged in a Google review, I did not have that opportunity. At thirty-three years old, I chose to pursue my childhood dreams and came across Pacific Crest Archery. In the best way possible, my life hasn't been the same since. I am at the shop multiple times a week, and it's not just for the archery (although it has become one of the greatest loves of my life). Ray, the owner and my self-appointed trainer, is truly one of the most incredible, kind, and knowledgeable people you will ever meet. He treats everyone who enters the shop like family. I have never seen a business run so purely as Ray has done it. Cole and Ray's wife, who also work there, do a fantastic job and give the same feel to the shop. If you're there to learn, Ray and Cole are experts and will teach you in a gentle, informative way. If you're there to buy, they'll give you the best options out there. If you're there to shoot, welcome to the family. Everyone who shoots here is kind to one another and we have a community. And if you're there just to hang out, well it's great for that too. Ray has poured his heart and soul into this place, and it's a place I feel blessed to call my second home.

So this is one of those hidden gems, it's not in a spot easy to see and I didn't even know it was there even know I've drove that road a lot until a random lady I was talking to at Walmart shopping when I was told me about it. I've only been here once but the clerk was so helpful and cared more about finding the right product for the right customer. Bows are a custom thing and he wanted to make sure it would be a right fit. So my oldest kiddo and I (she wants a bow for her bday coming up) are going down next weekend to fit her for a bow. He's ganna try and find us a nice used bow so we can stay at our budget as well. I saw a lot of hunting pictures there of the clerk so I'm going to take a guess he has been a huge part of the business or he owns it. Either way awesome guy and awesome place. Can't wait to go back and fit a bow ?.

Just bought archery equipment there today for myself and my sons, and it was a great experience. Got two recurve bows, a dozen premium arrows, and got to use them on their archery range. Ray gave us good guidance and some great pointers on how to shoot a recurve bow. Thanks for all the above and we will return to practice archery, and get whatever we need for the bows and the arrows. Thank you. ??? Great archery store. Very friendly and full of knowledge. This is the place in Salem/Keizer to go for all things archery!

Liz & Ray are awesome! Everyone at the shop are so friendly & nice. I had my 1st lesson today & I can't wait to go back! They are easy to talk to & very knowledgeable; they are welcoming & put you right @ ease. During my lesson they were very encouraging & put everything in perspective. I am so glad I have their shop to go to. I strongly recommend this archery shop!

My wife and I discovered Pacific Crest Archery today after struggling with a setup done by a "big box" store. Regardless of where we bought her bow and the brand, Ray took the time to not only make all needed adjustments correctly but also spent time giving my wife (and me) some shooting tips, as well as chatting with us about hunting with his wife Liz. We are very grateful to have found them and we will now be customers for life!!!
