Came here to see the cherry blossoms! It was very beautiful but the rains kinda ruined it ? There was some construction happening in the Capitol building as well. Very well maintained area

Beautiful grounds with the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Had the opportunity to walk under and through the trees with their traditional lanterns at 8:00am with a light drizzle and it was a magical experience. Gorgeous

Rebuilding or making the place better looking.. millions of dollars and homeless people all around... Wouldn't creating jobs for them be better than making a building look better... This governor is not helping anyone except for her/his friends... In the same way the last one did..

The state Capitol is under going a rebeautification process. Not sure when the project will be done. Had the privilege of delivering part of the supplies they need to get the job done. I believe it will be even more beautiful once finished.

Most of the Capitol is still under construction but east and west buildings are open for business. Hearings rooms A-F are open to the public. Please be mindful of security and x-ray scanners before you can enter building.

Why is it so much better than Olympia/Washington? Was foggy but super nice. A Capital visist is worth it.

Government buildings we're beautiful and majestic. Historian facts at every corner. Great for the whole family. I plan to go back when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. You can feel the pride in Salem with its stunning Capital and golden Lumber Jack❣
