This clinic is under staff. They cannot meet the needs of their established patient. Our dog has been an established patient for 4 yrs. We have needed them for unplanned appt 7 plus times. They have no room in their schedule for emergency appt. I would understand if this happened once. But not every single time! We called for an emergency appt today. They said they don't have anything open for a week an half. I will looking for a new veterinarian. They dont care about our animals.

This place is managed by some of the rudest receptionists ever encountered. Common courtesy isn't something they are capable of and act as is they could care less if you continue there or not. Well we are not

So far I've had a good experience at this clinic. Very informative responses to my questions when I came in with a list. He made sure we went through everything on it. Treated my dog well and she wasn't fearful which is a big deal since shes very I won't approach strangers. Hoping to have a great relationship with the people there.

The whole team at West Salem Animal Clinic always go out of their way to help both me and my pets feel comfortable, as well as informed about the health of my pets whenever we're there. We have two dogs, one small and one large. They are always so good with both of them, it's clear they love both their jobs and my pets. That's what I look for in an animal clinic. Thank you to the whole team at WSAC.

Dr. Crane and all the staff were wonderful for our two dogs' exams today. They were informative, friendly, and thorough. One of our dogs is usually anxious during vet appointments and both Dr. Crane and her technician gave such gentle examinations that she was able to get through the appointment without any exceptional amounts of stress. From scheduling, to check in, all the way to check out everyone truly impressed us with their care and pride they took in their work.

Long story short: Dr. Crane saved our dog, Mamba. I could write paragraph after paragraph of good things about Dr. Crane, Dede, Naomi, and all the staff at WSAC. Truly the kindest, most empathetic and caring people. I highly recommend this clinic for your pets needs. Long story: two weeks before our wedding, our rescue dog (who we'd had less than a year) became incontinent, very sick, and began showing signs of severe kidney failure. WSAC made time for us and tried everything to make our girl feel better. Turns out our 5-6 year old dog was really a super senior and her kidneys were in stage three failure. A few days before our wedding we had to have "the talk" about whether we would have to say good bye to Mamba before the wedding. We were not ready to give up, and Dr. Crane wasn't either. Dr. Crane tested for everything. She suggested treatments (while keeping our wallet in mind) and made recommendations. She would call and check in on days we weren't at her office. It was a really hard time for us and yet it was so much easier feeling like we had a whole team rallying behind our girl, showering her with love and affection every time we walked in. All the office staff knew her name and treated her as if she was their dog. Eventually, Dr. Crane suggested we try a medication that was inexpensive. We weren't sure if it would work but it was worth a shot. And let me tell you, Dr. Crane nailed it. As I type this, our Mamba is barking at the squirrel that dared to enter our yard. She's made a near full recovery. We will have to keep up with treatment, but it's affordable treatment that makes a huge difference in Mamba's quality of life. 100% worth it in my opinion. I don't know how long we have with Mamba, but I know that every day we get is all thanks to Dr. Crane and the staff at WSAC.

They have always been super helpful with the care of our 2 pups. From the diagnosis of worms in our first puppy (whom I thought might have parvo and was extremely worried) to anxiety on our second puppy, we have more than pleased with their care. Appointments made quickly when urgent, and prescriptions refilled very timely. In our most recent visit, my high-anxiety pup got poop all over his sister after his shots and the techs were amazing and took sissy away to get all cleaned up. She was clean and fresh-smelling when I got her back. They went above and beyond, as usual, in their care. We will always recommend this clinic to anyone asking where to take their furry family!

A friend of mine took a puppy to this vet that had just showed up on his property with an obvious injury to his leg. My friend was told that the pup would need surgery and how much it cost. My friend was unable to pay the entire bill at that time but was able to put half down to pay for the surgery. The vet office pressured him into signing a form to wave his rights to the dog... My friend got all the surgery money together and alerted the vet. The vet office told him they were looking for someone to do the surgery on the pup and gave him a date.. when my friend called to find out the status of the pup he was told that the puppy was placed in a home and that they didn't know where the pup was and that his best option was to request his money back. My friend has came out of pocket to help this dog and this vet office has taken advantage of him. He has been told that nobody knows where this pup is, nor did they know that he had put money toward the surgery. I don't recommend this vet for any fur baby! They are incompetent, and negligent!

I started going there because my husband picked them. They examined and gave my kitten her shots. When it came time to spay her, I asked for an estimate that ranged from $410 - 490. When I took her in for labs, the estimate was $630-750.00 "because she was in heat". My husband checked other vets and prices were at least half the price, if not more. It's a shame, the staff was very friendly and supportive of me when I broke down. However, we will NOT be going there again due to cost. I'm not sure how they can charge so much when their building is rundown like the section of town they are in.

I've used them for many years and they have excellent front office staff and doctors. I have never once had anything but compassionate care. I particularly love Dr. Siriyiani!

This is by far the worst clinic I have ever been to. They lied to me about where they placed my puppy when I told them she was not fully vaccinated and to not put her on the ground anywhere other than the exam table. Then they called while I waited in the parking lot to tell me they got a fecal sample and if I wanted them to test it. After I asked where she pooped they gave me three different stories about where she pooped after I chewed them out telling them how I told them originally not to put her on the ground cause she was not vaccinated. First it was outside, then the exam room floor, then the exam room table. The so called doctor miss diagnosed my puppy after I told her there was something wrong and I wanted her to do a urine test to check for a UTI but she refused saying she is just a puppy and it is probably nothing. Sure enough after taking her to a different vet and finding a bladder infection and then finding out she could have kidney failure and the other vet wanted to do a blood test to check they couldn't get me in for a couple weeks. So I called them in tears crying trying to get in to get the blood test because the other vets were to booked out. The lady that answered the phone and was so rude and didn't take what I had to say into consideration when I tried to explain how the vet originally didn't diagnose her right at my last visit and tried to get a appointment just to test for the kidney failure. She ended up hanging up on me while I was crying and said none of their doctors would see me because of how I spoke about the one doctor that misdiagnosed my puppy they had there that didn't take my feelings into consideration when misdiagnosing my poor puppy. She just hung up the phone while I was crying.

About 2 years ago I brought my dog Penny here after she passed out. Turns out she had lymphoma. I had to make the decision to bring her back in a week later because she wasn't doing well at all. I held her as they gave her the injection that would stop her heart. What genuinely prompted me to write this review was that I was promised her little footprints, and I never received them. Don't make a promise like this to someone who is devastated to lose her 6 year old baby, and not follow through. That sucked. This place sucks.

We started going here last summer but I took my puppy elsewhere for her spay because of the reviews on this site. When the other vet (who is an hour away and we went to for 20+ years before moving) called for vaccination records, this vet's office told them that they had no record of us. Ummmm... my credit card bill says otherwise???

Scheduled an appointment for both of my dogs to get their vaccinations updated and get flea and tick medicine. With the covid restrictions my husband was not able to go into the vet with the dogs, so he wasn't able to verify the services they received. He picked up the dogs thinking they had gotten all the services which we had scheduled the appointment for. We later tried to get vaccination records for the dogs and were told that the dogs didn't receive any vaccines. We had paid 450 dollars to have the dogs seen and they didn't even received the services we requested. All that I was told when I called on the phone was that the tech had made a note that the dogs were up to date on their vaccines, yet had no records from a previous vet.

I wanted to stick with this vet office even after I moved across town and my vet retired. Most of the quality staff have left, replaced by new people who don't seem to know the customer. As a client of over 15years I tried to ask the vet why my appt was for 9 but he didn't start til 9:15 cause he does rounds?! He was rude and condescending and patronizing saying he was done in plenty of time. Definately has a GOD complex!
