I was rear-ended recently and took my highlander into Main/Lovegrove for repairs. They've worked on cars in the past for us and did a nice job. My car didn't look too bad on the surface, but once they got in there, there was a bit of damage to the back bumper, undercarriage and exhaust system. They did a nice job on the repair (the car did need to go back once for a quick adustment to the fitting on the back panel, which was done within hours) and I got regular calls and texts from my rep Eric as they worked through the insurance claim and repair process. The work itself seems OK, but the shop is very disorganized. I scheduled an appointment for repairs (insurance) about a week and a half in advance, but when I showed up to drop my vehicle off, they didn't seem to be expecting me and told me they'd call back later that day to let me know when to expect my vehicle back (I had earlier been told it would take 2-3 days because the damage was fairly minor). No one returned my call, and when I called back the following day, they told me it would be at least 2 weeks to get my vehicle back. Only after threatening to take my car to another shop, they "fast tracked" me and got it done within the week. To top it off, the woman at the counter does not know how to wear a face mask properly. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

We would be giving 5 stars but our battery went dead while it was worked on. We picked up the car and soon were stranded with a dead battery.. Management wanted insurance to pay for it. I tried and the insurance didn't think they should have to cover the battery being drained while the car was being repaired.I had to buy a new battery and insurance is not sure they want Main to work on my cars again.

This is my first time writing a review for a company and I typically wouldn’t, but I had a terrible experience with Main Auto Body and hope no one else experiences this. Long story short, I was told they would have my car for 7-10 days and they had it for over a month. Communication on what was happening with my car was awful (I had to call them) and when I was told I’d receive a call with an update I never would so I’d have to call them. I had asked to have specific things on my car not fixed/touched and was told that this would be relayed to the guys and later found out it never was, then I was told they had to fix everything and I could take it up with insurance.. they were aware insurance had sent me all of the money so insurance wasn’t paying them.. I was and yet they would not listen to me and what I told them to not touch on MY car. I also found out that when I picked up my car they sent in another supplement to insurance and no one told me or asked about fixing additional things. I was told over the phone by their front desk gal that they were not allowed to do that, that they always had to check with the owner of the vehicle; but then in person told me that they did not have to speak to me about it... I would never take a vehicle back here which was disappointing because I had heard good things, but I personally had a terrible experience with this location and their employees.

I was so impressed with main auto body on Hoyt Street. My 2017 gmc canyon had some pretty big damage after my accident and main auto was so kind and professional and the workmanship of the repair was super.. I am very picky and the repair looked like it never happened. Good or even better then new. They kept me up to date on how everything was going and made sure it was good as new when I picked it up. They even got done sooner then original estimate. I will highly recommend them to anyone. Super nice people too.

The communication and quality provided well above my expectation as a customer. I look forward to bringing my vehicle back to this location as they provided me with superior service and quality I can trust. The staff kept me informed the entire way and handled most of the communication between needed parties. I definitely recommend them to anyone that may have had a bad previous experience with another shop.

Hoyt location: The worst work and the slowest work I have ever received!! Had my truck for three and a half weeks and wasn't even fixed completely when I got it back. Took it back and it's been sitting there not touched for two weeks and no one thought to call to tell me there was an issue. Went and picked it up today. A hose was dangling from the underneath. Nice. They told my insurance company it wasn't safe to drive. Then why did they send it home the first time saying all repairs were complete?? I took it back to them because they didn't fix the bumpers or the windows or the running board. My claims officer called them and asked why all of a sudden it wasn't safe? They said that was incorrect information. Super mad! I'll go somewhere else for the rest of the repairs. The office ladies are very nice though, the only positive thing I have to say.
