Store owner made sure he was stocked to serve our community! So appreciate having a local place to depend on. They are great people sending love and thanks. They could of stayed home and closed but chose to help those of us that were iced in our homes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart??

At first the store looked cute and welcoming, but immediately after walking inside you're hit with rude political statements and merchandise making it clear that not everyone is welcome in this shop. Not to mention the flag outside that straight up said "Liberals go away". As a queer couple entering this store, it did not feel like a safe place to be caught doing something as innocent as holding my girlfriend's hand. Very sad and very disappointing.

I have been coming to Macleay store since I was a child and lived just a couple miles away. My family has been in the valley for 5 generations and my own great grandmother lived in Shaw and went to this store. Imagine my sadness to see the offensive political flags in front now.Rural folks in Oregon used to put obvious differences aside in order to live together and support each other. Putting up symbols like this implies that people like myself and my family are not welcome, despite us existing here and contributing to our community for over a hundred years.I feel fortunate to have many fond memories of Macleay store and Kermit, the former owner, who was always very kind and welcoming to everyone. I hope someday it can be restored to its former glory.

My boys had fond memories of getting candy here, so we stopped by today. They have a Let’s go Brandon sign right next to the flag for the United States of America. For me that is offensive to say F$&@ the President and hang that right next to the American flag.Of course my boys asked who Brandon was. I’m not going to lie to them for others bad choices, so I told them. Unfortunately they don’t have as fond of memories of this store anymore.

Love this little store. Every time you enter there’s something new to see. It’s not your typical store to stop into... there’s the basic essentials you need plus a whole lot more: from gifts to movies , earrings and rooster cookie jars to bumper stickers and beer and wine...There’s a little bit of everything and it’s always a fun and pleasant place to visit to.

Nostalgia! This store is so cute with all the knickknacks as far as the eye can see! It also houses small grocery items that you might not want to drive into town for just because you forgot something on your list this is your place to go! When I was a kid I used to love coming in here for the 1¢ candy and a rental movie (I always got George of the jungle) and I recommend a nice pairing with a pixie stix or two.
