I like the store. I usually get great service but today the guy working there seemed so angry. Any time I didn't buy something I asked to look at he seemed irritated. I asked to see two things. Not like i was window shopping asking to see a million things. I planned on buying my gf a gift today but today was the first time I left the store empty handed because of how he acted with me. I don't think I'll be back to that location. Which sucks because I buy all my jewelry there. I'm a card holder too. I just will not be treated like I'm wasting his time. He is getting paid to show me things. So that was super odd he acted that way. Isn't it his job to show me things without acting heated that I didn't buy the two items I was shown? I watched him act the same way with a couple other customers too. No telling how much business you lost today due to his attitude. I get that people have bad days but dont take it out on customers. He could have made $850 just from me today but I walked away.

Bought a mother's ring from Kays. They said it was under warranty. A year or so later I lost one of the stones. I took it in, they said yes under warranty and they would send it out for repair. This was in December, finally in February we got a call it was ready. We drove the 45 minutes there and they did not have my ring. They didn't even know were it was, but proceeded to tell me it wasnt under warranty and we would have to pay. I had a few words and they said they would cover it. Got the call in March that it was done drove back and it wasn't even fixed!!!! They still have my ring. I will never do business with them again!!! No star review!!

Bought a necklace with a warranty, chain broke lost the stone and they wouldn’t replace because we didn’t have the stone. So bought the same exact one again and 3 hours after we bought it, chain broke again and they wouldn’t give my money back for first one or any credit at all. They did not make it right for a customer after their mistake. Never buying anything from them again.

This company uses a third party banking institution for their financing. If you get a bogus late fee and try to rectify it, Kay can’t fix it even if it is a mistake that occurred in their store. They will advise you to go through the lender directly, which of course won’t do anything because they aren’t the ones who made a mistake and also because YOU aren’t really their customer, Kay is. Don’t go through companies like this. Go through Harry Ritchies or someplace that does their own financing who can help you on the spot.

Beautiful jewelry, however not the best customer service at this store. I went in telling the employee that I knew absolutely nothing about engagement rings and wanted to customize the engagement ring I was proposed with, that had previously been bought at Kays. The women that helped me wasn't much help, seemed to know very little about the engagement rings, and when she did provide me with answers, explanations were very short.

Just in case you where wondering, Kay has always treated us well. We usually deal with the older gentlemen with the glasses. He really makes you feel right at home when you come in. Great customer service. We been going To the Salem center location for 4+ years. Always glad to spend my money here.

Top notch experience at this Kay's location. Came in with literally zero knowledge about diamonds or ring shopping at all, but Damien was so very incredibly helpful in educating my girlfriend about what to look for and the differences between different kinds of diamonds and settings. He was very patient and not pushy at all, giving us the space we needed to soak in all the information in a safe space. Would definitely recommend this shop any day!

Professional, friendly and informative. I was informed about the correct way to resize a ring larger and what can happen when it is done incorrectly. That happened to another one of my rings at another jewelry store. Glad I came to Kay Jewelers to correct the previous ring and resize this ring. One in RC, Ca and this last one in Salem, OR

After a very disappointing year long process with Kay’s retailers and online the certified gemologists Danicka and Julie delivered a redemption song worthy of this praise. My sweetie and I had THREE absolute horror show experiences ranging from product being shipped not as described, to bait and switch tactics, to refusing to honor a standing offer at our local Albany store. We had a ring that wasn’t at all what we expected and wanted to attempt salvaging the investment through Kay’s trade up program. We finally went in together to keep solidarity in our decisions and these two kind souls saw us coming from a mile away and took superb care in every step of the process. I genuinely can’t say enough as to what a night and day difference Danicka and Julie presented in the name of Kay’s Jewlers and they will indeed be our go to PEOPLE for all future needs. Thank you so much ladies for all your help, sorry for the delay in posting this but she had no clue when it was going to be hers and it is now. (She said yes )
