The shop is alright, a lot of artist turnover though. I recommend Roary... he's extremely talented and the best artist I've had tattoo me. But my real reason for leaving a review is directed toward Shawn Heard and his complete and utter lack of ability to act professionally when he gets his feelings hurt. He has done 2 pieces for me, both good work, but when my 2nd piece had healed and I didn't like one tiny little detail and asked him to change it...he acted like the biggest baby over it. Newsflash! IT'S PERMANENTLY ON MY BODY!!! Also, I have gone back to multiple artists after the fact and asked for something to be changed...with no problems at all. Grow up, and get over yourself! Not everyone is going to like every last detail of your work. The world of tattoo is selling your image, right?! And to top it all off: he was excessively aggressive in the weight of his hand, I bled for days, and now I'm all healed up with a scar. The area still hurts like hell. I will not be returning to him, I'd rather pay someone to fix his screw up!

Roary is an amazing artist. He has done both small and large tattoos on me with very high attention to detail. He’s also got great “bedside manner” always making you laugh and checking in on you during the process. Additionally, my partner and I both identify as cis-gay men and we both have felt extremely comfortable/safe working with Roary. He is a great ally and helps create a very inclusive, safe environment!

Ann Mare Cruz ??? ?!! She did a tribute tattoo today in honor of my 4-year-old son Ozzy Zeward Brown who passed in September from DIPG a terminal brain tumor that has no cure. She made it very intimate " I'll always remember" but also fun and light-hearted. Her skills amaze me and how much she can do in an hour you would also gasp. Not only is she fabulous in her art, creativity with you as a client, but the comfortability that she gave me in the chair was exactly what I needed. I even brought my mom with me who has no tattoos, never drink, never smoked in her life,.and would never get a tattoo....ever....she loved this after Ann was done! My mom knew how important this tattoo was and it turned out perfect Don't tell anyone but I think she might be thinking about getting one now after Ann Mare Cruz...lol... Seriously!

Wanted a tattoo last minute while I was in Oregon and was able to do a walk-in. My experience was amazing, and the guy was really cool and did an amazing job on the tattoo. I'm definitely gonna come back

In 2015 I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I grew tired of looking at the 2 scars on my chest and decided that I wanted something beautiful there instead. Over 2 sessions with Karissa, she helped by creating the imagery I’d much rather see. Now I have lovely flowers, (a variety) a hummingbird, 2 butterflies, a dragonfly and a tiny little ladybug to look at!Karissa involved me in the process to the smallest of details. I had complete trust in her experience and use of color. The shading and detail is just incredible.Also, I had never gotten a tattoo before, and this was a big step for me. I set up my appointment through email. I heard back within the week. The studio is a nice comfortable place. Each artist has their area, with curtains for privacy. The staff that work there are all friendly.I am delighted with the results and highly recommend Karissa, and Roots Deep Tattoo.Services: Color ink tattoos

I went to Tosh to get a lovely hummingbird tattoo with my mom’s signature to honor the 6th month after my mom’s passing (hummingbirds were her fave and she helped me pick the design out).Tosh was awesome! She was professional, friendly, and communicative. I’m using this tattoo as the beginning of a half-sleeve and it will all be done by her. My friend also went to her for the same tattoo to honor my mom as well and she’s also going to continue going to Tosh.
