I called JL's to see how soon then could have a part for my refrigerator as my wife and I would rather shop local then ordering online from random place. When I called he not only told me they could have the part to me the next day but the part was also a better deal. My wife and I always prefer to shop locally first so I definitely went with the local option and even if it had been more than the option online I would have shopped locally. I was told the parts are typically in between 10:00am and 12:00pm and would receive a call.The next day at 12:20 I had still not heard from JL's so I contacted them to see when I could head down to pick up the part that was supposed to be in only to find out from a different employee that now now the part won't be here until the next day which at this point does leave me in a bind and if I had just ordered the part online it would have been here the day it was promised. My wife and I are believers that people like to shop local and support local. However, with the unfortunate lack of communication from JL's and other small businesses alike this is what is driving consumers to shopping online and at the big online appliance parts houses. I can say my frustration could have been resolved with a simply phone call however it is sad to see that JL's Appliance is just another company that does not concern themselves with how this may affect the consumer.Very disappointed consumer,Timothy Gentry
