Can't say enough good things about these guys. Professional, personable and go the extra mile. They moved our piano into a house with lots of steps and tight turns and did a fantastic job, along with moving a pile of furniture and boxes. Highly recommended.

What a joke this company is! Says "Piano Moving" in their name yet can't seem to show up with the correct tools to move a Grand Piano, no qualifiying questions etc. asked for cash because their 'credit card machine isn't working' so we paid them $400 cash for the move while we had wood floor installed. weeks later when they were able to come back to move the piano back, told us we only paid $300 initially and because they had to rent stuff for our move it would be more. Long story short $1042 later our piano is moved back...pretty sure they ripped our head off due to us needing it done quickly. totally unprofessional, clueless and just a couple yahoos out moving pianos...we will NEVER use them again and will prolifically spread the word of our experience. based on reviews here...we clearly should have paid more attention, what a crap company!

These guys are great! They were very helpful, professional and friendly. Ours was a tough piano move as they had to drive through a field to access our basement, but they worked together and figured it out. Our old piano was also missing a wheel, and they fixed that too! AMAZING!

I was referred to JJ&C by West Coast Moving and Storage. JJ&C did a long-distance move for me over 2 days: picking up a piano I am inheriting from my dad’s estate on the OR coast on Day 1, then delivering it to a packaging company in Portland on Day 2. I am so grateful they were available (before any other company), because the buyer of my dad’s property takes possession soon.I live in WA and was not on site for either end of the move. JJ&C was careful moving the piano through my dad’s house, per my dad’s executor, and sent me digital copies of paperwork and inventory of defects. The next day they let me know when the piano was delivered and sent me photographs of it at the packaging company. My one reservation was that they charge by the hour, and I had no control over what time of day they chose to travel (e.g., traffic conditions) and no way to verify their total time. I agreed to pay in advance for 10 hours, with the understanding that we would true up if the actual time was different. They reported that they spent 10 hours. I felt the total amount was reasonable. I have suggested to owner Art Perez that they consider billing a flat rate for longer jobs in order to better align their interests with their customers’ interests. I suggest to customers to pay what you think is reasonable and treat it as a flat rate.I felt they did their best to give me a conscientious service, and their communication was excellent. I much appreciate them and recommend them. : )

I couldn't believe it, there was a Baldwin piano available in, lesd than my price range and you're not going to believe this! Just a mile or so from my house--a real Baldwin What does that mean? To a pianist it means the ability to play a piece of music and have it sound the way you're feeling. Musically it's called technique. It is a pleasure, it is amazing, and it is a gift. The action on an original Baldwin cannot be duplicated. Trained as a classical pianist from the age of six and I can't tell you what a pleasure it is for me to play on a Baldwin.JJC and Movers moved a piano for me in the past and when this piano became available they were the only team I wanted . The plan was to bring it to the house one day and then carry it up my stairs on another. When they saw I only had a few stairs and I just wanted them to drop it at the top-- they went ahead and moved it.Gently, gracefully, treating my Classic like it was brand new, just floating it right up the stairs I couldn't believe it. Just so amazing to watch. I was just so grateful and pleased. They're kind and professional. I just can't help but recommend them to everybody and anybody who's going to move a piano.I'll use them again and again and again!(Of course, In order to have a piano in every room, I must be patient and work them into my decorating scheme....)

10/5 ---- I need to edit and update my previous review. The owner of the moving company contacted me and tried to make right the previous delivery. He was willing to work with me and very accommodating and was sorry about any inconvenience. He said the owner of the piano was very difficult to work with, and although I am still not sure what that difficulty was, I believe him that he tried to make it work. The piano moving company owner was willing to try again and gave me several times of appointments to make this happen. I appreciate his contacting me and willingness to resolve the issue. My husband and friends ended up moving the piano, so I didn't need his service anymore, but I felt assured that if I had, everything would have gone smoothly. I believe this is an honorable company and should feel happy to use them if the need arose again.

Piano move: JJ&C gave me the best price & availability (next day) of approx. 7 (Salem) area movers I contacted. They were prompt, easy to communicate with, and got my piano from house to house like the pros they are! I would definitely use them again and highly recommend Art & his team!

JJ & C Movers were professional, courteous and cautious in moving my piano from one house to another. Art even went out of his way to identify an issue I’d had for years with one of the pedals and provided a personal referral for a replacement part. I was very happy with their work and would recommend them for any of your moving needs!

These guys are hard workers, they are there when you schedule them and work hard on site. 4 years ago, I used them to move from one apartment to another across town town. They also moved our business to another location-both without issue.I set up a time for them to move us again, this time into a house. No offense JJ&C, but I hope I don't have to move again!

Moving my new piano was a breeze using this company, from my first inquiry, through scheduling, to the pick up and delivery-- to my second floor apartment! I recommend them to anyone wanting a professional, capable and careful moving company and crew. ???
