Excellent shoe shop. Excellent selection of brands and styles, especially running/walking shoes. Clean and orderly and well-staffed by pleasant, helpful, patient staff. The shopping experience is infinitely better than self-serve discount places, and the prices are comparable.

Stopped at 4 different stores and - the service here was the best; can’t compare the selection and assistance to the discount shoe stores. Found a nice pair of sandals. They also have a clearance rack with good styles
The first Footwear Express store opened in 1974 in downtown Albany, OR. Currently we have two locations, one in Albany and one in downtown Salem. We also have a large selection of high quality socks (including Smartwool and Darn Tough), arch supports, and handbags.
