Visited this location8/25/23 and was very very upset with the management. I nice younger girl with dark long helped me and was super helpful. Very sweet and understanding. But her co worker who wasn’t even helping me buds in super rude. I ordered online as a guest and apparently famous footwear doesn’t send you an order confirmation unless you sign up for Famous Footwear rewards. Which I didn’t want to do because I don’t like spam emails and I explained all of this to the rude older lady with long brown hair. I could pull up my order number and my only receipt by logging in with my guest email and zip but this was not good enough for the older lady. Instead, she told me how I needed to sign up for famous footwear rewards and that they won’t send me spam emails. Thankfully, they did my return as a “ return with no receipt” even though I have an order number. This was fulfilled by the younger lady with long brown hair, and she was very helpful and nice. I wish I got their names, but conveniently their names were covered by keychains. Lastly, to mention before she bud into my conversation with the younger lady she was being very rude and disrespectful to a younger boy just trying to buy a pair of crocs

Sylvia, at the Salem center Store, was most helpful and upbeat. Her customer service skills are rarely seen nowadays and appreciate how she treated my son and I. She was able to show us the best deals and get us in and out fairly quick.

Today was a bad experience. I was very in shock when my fiancé and I were kicked out of Famous Footwear as soon as we walked in. The employee said that they needed to close down because the temperature reached over 80° (and this is apparently a district manager rule) Apparently that is a thing. I've been to multiple retail stores or any place for that matter that stayed open during heat. It's just what happens. I'm not sure how they are even staying in business when Oregon summer is almost always going to bring heat. Either move to a vacant part in the store where there is better AC or install/use money to upgrade the one you have, is my recommendation. We will not be shopping from them in the future.

Very lame management I was very disappointed with how she was treating me because I didn't want to sign up for the rewards program and and then try to guilt Trip me by telling me that the employees hours will be very unprofessional and very rude unfortunately I will never go back even if my friends are working

Sylvia was literally the absolute best employee I have ever been assisted by. She refused to let me walk around the store holding tons of shoe boxes, and would always clear my hands and bring my boxes to a seat so I could have them all in one place. Not only that, but she paid so much attention to me as her customer, remembered what shoe size I was and before I got my hopes up about a pair of shoes, she'd tell me whether or not they'd come in my size! She saw me looking at a pair of men's shoes, and came up to me asap and said "girl those won't fit you! You're a 7 and my lowest in those is a 7 in men's which is a 9 in women's! I'm sorry" and I couldn't help but smile and be sooo impressed by her memory and her attention to detail. She was absolutely amazing. If she isn't already management level, she sure should be. I will remember her quality of service forever. She set the bar so high for any retail worker I meet in the future. Thank you Sylvia !!!!!!!

The most unique experience I’ve ever had in a famous footwear, and I mean that in a positive waySylvia helped me and she was very very kind, and funny. Super cool person. This store didn’t have a boot in the size I was looking for and she helped me put the pair I needed on hold at a different store.Very good customer service :)

The manager Sylvia was extremely unprofessional and her employee Jose where so rude and very discriminationatory!! Besides singling use out after 10 seconds of walking in witch was fine, but he approached us again and made me feel uncomfortable and then kept staring so I brought it to the managers attention Sylvia and she was very snarky and rude so I left and the Jose guy followed us out and just stared laughing. And then as I'm filling out a complaint the girl Sylvia approached me apologized and then popped of an attitude.

This has got to be one of the worst shoe stores I’ve been into. There was nowhere to sit to try on shoes, the floor was filthy, and the staff were very rude. This is exactly why online shopping has become so popular.

I had the pleasure of interacting with an employee who I believe was named Sylvia. I watched her interact with a customer in the most kind and patient way and made a purchase just because of her. Amazing customer service, I left with a smile and you can count on my business from now on thanks to her!

Always loved going here. Usually great deals and easy in and out trip for new shoes. They're buy one get 50% off sale is ridiculous. " Not valid on Birkenstock, Bogs, Brooks, Chaco, Converse, Crocs, Dansko, Dr. Martens, HEYDUDE, Hunter, Koolaburra by UGG, Native, Nike, OOFOS, Under Armour, Vionic, select ASICS, select Columbia, select New Balance, select Reef, select Steve Madden, select Teva, select Timberland, and select Timberland Pro styles" so basically the whole store? Went and got my crocs online because of the sale not working. Turns out crocs had them on sale for over 50% won't be spending money here with misleading deals. I definitely wasn't the only person that was confused by their promo
