Talk about great customer service! Day Energy Solutions was working on my neighbor's house when they noticed some breaches in my two crawlspace entrances. Perfect for small animals to get through. Ahren came and knocked on my door and let me know, merely as a courtesy, since that work wasn't really in their typical purvue.My wife and I were both working from home at the time, while also taking care of 3 kids, one of them only 2 months old, so finding the time to do house projects of any kind was nearly impossible.Thankfully, Ahren said he would love to help us out, and was able to quickly scope out the work and gave us a VERY reasonable quote. Within a week, our house was expertly sealed with absolutely no hassle. We hardly even knew they were here.Thank you so much for being so professional and going out of your way to help us out during such an important and crazy time in our lives.

My crawlspace ductwork was ruined then replaced 4 years ago by Day Energy. Ahren is prompt, kind, polite, honest and was perfect. He patiently explained thoroughly, going over options and choices. Not only did he point out and install screen in an area that rodents could get into the crawlspace, he also pointed out my stove’s downdraft was improperly installed with flexible ductwork and replaced it….BOTH for free. Flash forward to the present after the damage happened again. The guys worked seamlessly with Day Heating and Cooling to put in a beautiful system in the attic. Look for the review of Day Heating for the rest. But this company is top notch and their knowledge base and expertise will have me recommending them to everyone.

I called Day Energy Solutions, and Ahren came out immediately and gave me a bid for insulation in my attic floor. The price was very reasonable, and we were scheduled right away! The workers were very professional, courteous, polite, and very hard working. I then got a second bid from them to do all four of my walls in my house because we bought a 105-year old home that had no insulation. Again, the price was very reasonable and Ahren even called me earlier than expected because time in their schedule had opened up and they were able to come out the very next day. Melinda at the office was very polite, easy to get a hold of, and a joy to speak with. I would recommend them to anyone, they are the best company I have ever worked with. Very, very pleased! The house is so much warmer!

Ahren completed a detailed home energy audit including a crawlspace and HVAC duct evaluation for us and a prioritized project list was developed. A variety of projects were successfully completed including a complete crawlspace renovation along with replacing various bathroom and kitchen exhaust vents. The work crew was courteous, professional, and informative as they completed their work. We also use Day Heating u0026 Cooling and Day Pest Control for our HVAC and pest control needs. They are highly competent, always prompt, and always helpful.

I have used Day Heating and Cooling for years....they have done routine maintenance, major installations (furnace and AC), and duct work for me. Always on time, reasonably priced, and expert work. Not a single complaint, ever. They have my highest recommendation.

I’d gotten a few estimates for properly re-insulating my attic. Ahren was thorough, clearly knowledgeable and really explained the whole process to me in a way that really gave me confidence that the job would be done well. The guys who did the work showed up on time, they were personable and professional, and cleaned up amazingly well afterward. I highly recommend this company and will be using them for more projects in the future.

Being a new home-owner there’s bound to be some unforeseen issues that arise and we experienced that with our crawlspace. My fiancé and I needed new sub-flooring, a complete re-installation of the insulation and new crawlspace vents replaced - Ahren and his crew took care of everything and in a timely manner. From the quality of work to level high degree of customer service - we were very pleased with the results.Malinda, the senior administrative manager is also a joy to work with. Day energy insulated our attic area. They were professional and polite and very courteous. About a year later we had a question about the install and just wanted verification. Ahren took care of it himself. This firm is rare in Oregon they are very trustworthy and I am hard sell. Do not hesitate to use them.

These guys know how to work! I contacted them to get a quote on insulating my attic crawl space two weeks ago. They were out the next morning to check it out, did a complete walk-around and gave me advice on what needed to be done before insulating. They gave me the option of doing it myself or having them do it which I appreciated a lot. After I had everything ready, they sent the crew out. They had estimated it to take two days but knocked it out in one! The job was done perfectly and without issue. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their house. They are honest, hard working, and go above and beyond on service. Great people all around.

I’m very happy with their work. I had insulation installed. When Ahren came to look things over to do a quote I asked about additional things to help keep the house cool and he wasn’t pushy at all to get them done which was appreciative. The guys who came to blow the insulation were nice and professional. Melinda told me about the energy trust of Oregon when I called to make the appointment, which I qualified for and it made the price amazing. So glad I went with them!

Good job done by the crew. The cedar siding pieces were removed to pump in the wall insulation and then were replaced and it is almost impossible to see where cedar pieces were removed. Also Ahren went the extra mile in getting a metal strip. cut and installed to help reduce cold air coming thru the fireplace in winter. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be assured that a professional job will be done

It is very sad what happened to this old woman. And what is sadder, it very probably is happening to other people using this service business. Twenty years ago this business designed and built some of the utilities in my new home. So it was natural that when everything aged and these utilities needed repair, Day would be the company to call. So, the repairmen (2) came and neither one could fix the problems.To a cost to me of almost $400. When I questioned this, I was told that was the charge and another visit would be at least that much more. With no guarantees. The repairmen had neither the certification nor the experience to fix my repair work. Would you continue with them, for no assurance except that there would be more cost? I may be old but I'm not stupid.

Ahren came out and did a detailed inspection of our house. He also explained why a few services I asked about wouldn't be beneficial. They worked us into their schedule and their work went well. We can already tell our house is better insulated.

Came and fixed our furnace. Nice guy, gave us a free filter about 6 months down the road. A couple weeks ago (one year after install), had to call because furnace was leaking during ice storm, made appointment, pretty quick to respond, after ice melted, furnace fixed itself so cancelled the appt.
