Bought a pickup from here. We immediately had issues with the truck, then had to argue with them to get a loaner while they fixed it. Then after they had fixed everything including the brakes, after our first service they said my brakes needed attention even tho they were supposed to be brand new. I continued to go back because I was hoping it would improve and I wanted to keep a good service record on my truck.
Anyways as soon as I got new wheels I went in for an oil change/ tire rotation. I was up hunting this weekend and got a flat. Only to realize that they stripped out and bent my Allen nuts to my lug nut caps and I had a hell of a time getting them out while I was on the side of the road.

Miranda Diaz helped me so much! I went in not knowing what I wanted but we got to it! Once we had decided what I would be trading my old car in, Jonathan Myrie Castro helped us get the best deal with the best bank he could find for our financing. Definitely would recommend friends to go here if they are looking for a new vehicle or trade in!

These people are shady.
I inquired about a Suburban that I wanted to purchase and I live in Madras, OR which is 3 hours away. We agreed on a price over the phone and I was told that the inspection was great and there were no issues found. I looked at the car fax and most of the major work had been done on it recently by the previous owner and it was well maintained. Since the reviews were good for this place I trusted them and had them pull my credit prior to driving over so that I wasn't wasting an entire day to leave empty handed.
Now, I told them that I had a 4 week old baby and my wife was coming with and that this would be difficult for us so we wanted the process to be quick and is why we did all the preliminary stuff over the phone. Once I got there I looked at the vehicle and there was rust underneath the car and rotors/calipers were also rusted. The rust had yet to eat away at anything and seemed fixable so I decided to test drive it in hopes it was mechanically sound.
This whole time the salesman was preaching about how it's a family owned business and they take care of you like family, typical dealership mantra. On the test drive I found that the A/C didn't work (not a huge deal breaker if they didn't offer to fix it) but once we got over 45 mph the vehicle started to wobble significantly which is a sign that one or both of the axles is shot and needs to be replaced (My guess is about $2000 each for a vehicle this size, possibly more) and upon braking, the vehicle would shake to a stop because it felt like the rotors were warped.
Fast forward to after the test drive when the salesman goes to talk to the mechanics and I am just now told that all 4 rotors are warped and the brake pads also need to be replaced (about $1200-1500) and they made the conscious decision to NOT repair it as it would cut too much into their profit margin. This is what I was told verbatim by the dealership.
Prior to coming we agreed to a lower price than what they had listed due to KBB showing that VIN was worth about $9000-$11,400 in VERY GOOD condition which is labeled as a vehicle that has no mechanical issues and minor, repairable, cosmetic issues. They had it listed at $14,980 online and upon arriving to the lot the sticker price was $16,900 which is well above the market value for the vehicle and didn't match their online advertisement. I had agreed to pay $12,500 if everything was in working order which they assured me was the case.
I asked if they could go significantly lower as the KBB value for that exact vehicle in FAIR condition, which is labeled as having mechanical issues that NEED to be addressed, was $3,500-$5,500. Seeing as how it would cost me $3,200-5,200 just to make the vehicle safe for my wife and child to be in I felt that it was reasonable for them to match the price in that range and they refused to go any lower than $11,000 which is in the price range for that vehicle in GOOD condition requiring no repairs.
To my disappointment I could not in good conscious pay that much for a vehicle in that condition. The salesman then brought a Tahoe for me to look at and said they could give me a deal on it due to the Suburban being in such bad condition and us making a lengthy drive to get it. As he pulled up the Tahoe I could see it was profusely leaking in the back and when I looked underneath the vehicle I could very obviously see there was a crack in the catalytic converter. I didn't even bother looking at the vehicle and just left.
These people do not care about safety, they do not care about the people they are selling vehicles to and are just taking trade-ins without doing any real work to them and overcharging for unsafe vehicles leaving unsuspecting and unknowledgeable people with massive repair bills to have a working vehicle.
I get it's a business and you need to make a profit, but sometimes you make a bad inve

As a non- customer, I was impressed. I accompanied a friend on a test drive of a Toyota Prius Prime. This was the only dealership from Vancouver to Eugene that was willing to discuss the model, paint color, and options he wanted on his prospective car. Then, tell him what was on their delivery sheet from the factory (including the VIN), and how soon more would arrive at their showroom. Low pressure sales associates as well. Bravo.

Flat out great service! So excited that our son got his first car this past week! My wife and I really appreciated salesmen Jeff and Stinger who were so helpful. We also had Chris the financial manager working hard for us to get Kyle the best terms and protection. No doubt this dealership aims to make great relationships too! Capitol Subaru in Salem, OR was a great experience!

Waaaay overpriced. Poor customer service on the phone lines , no rental cars available for months . Found way better service from places like Les Schwab and batteries plus . Price check and search locally before shopping here.

Recently sold my car to this group. Such a disappointment. Very kind engaging sales team initially only to be followed by false promises. They did share it would take 10 days to ensure my remaining car loan balance had been paid, which ironically was paid right at 10 days. It's now approaching 30 days and still no payment. I was promised a check would go out at the 10 days, nothing. Then was told the would overnight, still nothing. Now told it was in the mail-still nothing. Considering a lawyer. Small claims court? Are they buying cars with no capital? I haven't a clue. Don't sell to them, best to just wait to sell to private party.

We could not be happier with the Sale Service we received. Thank you so much Benji (sales) and Alex (financing)!Benji helped us look at all the available inventory, brought us several options to look at/test drive, and was accommodating of our child offering books from the play room, drinks, snacks...whatever we needed. A+ facility, by the way. Buying a car can take hours, and we were completely comfortable the entire time.We left that day with a car that meet all our needs and was within our price range. Highly recommended dealership, and be sure to ask for Benji!

Capitol Auto Group has been great to my family! We’ve purchased a car here and get it serviced regularly. Today, we sold an extra vehicle and it was a smooth process. Jesus was amazing to work with and gave us a fair deal! Thank you Capitol and Jesus! Highly recommended !
