Our little shih tzu girl, Ms ZZ, loved her first vet appointment at the Animal Care Center Veterinary Clinic in Salem, OR. The gentle, welcoming staff and vet made for no drama and a thorough understanding of her health status. I highly recommend this clinic for all of your pet care needs.

September 2024 Check up, vaccinations and nails for very nervous Cat 2 that I blessedly inherited from most beloved sister who passed away 2 months ago. As always, Macie, Kasey, Brooke and Dr. Rigling did an excellent job ?. Macie and Dr. Rigling were so compassionate and gentle with growling, scared Cat and my wee girl was a champion. We now have two girl Cats - on the opposite ends of the spectrum; one friendly and loves everyone, one frightened of everyone and growls and hisses the whole time (no lashing out or biting though). Dr. Rigling looks after both with great experience and knowledge. I recommend ACC so much.10/10.
August 2024: Cat 1 got new nails! Kasey, as always, was there to take our friendly moggie in, trim her nails, and return her to me in the car. As a disabled person, they do everything they can to make it easy for me and my pets. Kasey always gives the highest level of care and attention to Cat *and* me?; she’s an absolute gem. Recommend ACC 10/10.
May 2024: Yearly check, probe, jab and nail trim for Cat. As always, Kasey was there with TLC, which Cat approves and appreciates (as do we). Dr. Rigling was knowledgeable and thorough in her examination. THE LEVEL OF CARE AT ACC REMAINS SUPERIOR.
August 2023: Cat had teeth cleaning. Four extractions, less than anticipated. Some sticker shock as price has doubled since Dr. Schwartz’s retirement, but cannot stress enough THE LEVEL OF CARE AT ACC IS SUPERIOR.
Kasey does an amazing job cleaning and polishing Cats teeth; I wish she could do mine. Dr. Harbord and the anesthesiologist did great - no woozy, falling over cat! ACC is very knowledgeable about all the procedures and products they use, including anesthesia.
Kasey is amazing with all the animals I see her interacting with. With our cats, she has always been gentle and loving, making the torture easier to bear (“They *probed* me, Mum! It was torture!”). Cat recovered quickly and was back to her cheeky, lovely self next day after teeth extractions and cleaning.
? June 18, 2023: At home, we lost our most beloved, bright golden boy ?.
May 2023: Yearly appointment for our beloved (14-18 year old) Cat went fabulously. Kasey trimmed Cat’s nails so gently he showed them off no end when he got home ?. “Look, Mum! I got new nails!”
Also in May the outside stray (now Cat2) went to ACC. Husband had been worrying and feeding Cat2 for months and she finally came inside in April. Although signs of recent past malnutrition were evident, our care was also evident and Cat2 had negative FelV, FIV. Got nail trim, vaccinations and clean bill of health with teeth cleaning in the future.

August 2022: Cat has unusual symptoms so we’re getting those checked out. I can’t stress #enough# how #much# Dr. Schwartz, Kylie, Kasey, and all the incredible staff love animals - all animals - and care for them with such heart. Kasey was so super gentle with a reluctant cat and Dr. Schwartz gives you all his attention even though the Clinic is fully booked. The reason they’re #Willamette Valley’s Best of 2022# is simply because they ARE!
March 2022: Yearly boosters and nail trim. Dr. Schwartz has such a big heart for animals. He was very gentle and caring with Cat. Kylie is a fabulous technician and is clearly in the right field. As is our lovely Lynda, at the front desk, the mega multi-tasker.
*June 2021: Cat went for his yearly boosters and nail trim. Maggie collected Cat and brought him back after routine appointment. Cat was his usual self and not upset at all. Love this clinic and all the Staff!
*May 2021: Cat had an emergency appointment with Dr. Schwartz. This clinic is amazing! Dr. Schwartz came out to my car and explained everything he had found and what he was going to do
