Knowledgeable staff most of the time. Last contact did not understand what we wanted despite repeated attempts to describe, name, and all in English. Had to buy needed items (weep covers for windows) on line.

personally i think its stupid for businesses to have politicians signs up. they will piss off half the customers no matter which side. but hey, its your store and i will gladly shop somewhere else.

I like race hardware in w. Salem
As soon as I walked in there was a salesman ready to help me . He showed me were my item was and I was in and out on under 5 minutes. What I was not liking is the prices. Almost $20 for a 1 gallon gas can.
Damn!!

Yesterday I bought 3 vineing plants from aces outdoor plant area. After I got them home and was looking into planting them I discovered that these plant can't live in zones that get below 50 degrees. It is starting to get below 50 degrees here in Oregon in just a few days. The 1st of October. I may be silly for assuming but wouldn't you think that plants sold in an outdoor area, not with houseplants would be suitable for the outdoors? I called to ask about returning them the very next day and I was told no returns on plants, no exceptions. I feel very mislead. I won't be returning there.

Went to this location because I had a bid in the area and needed some chainsaw items and sand paper. Most of the staff was very helpful and I had good conversation with. The negative happened when I was in line to pay, some lady questioned if I needed help and I said no I was just trying to pay for my items. She then proceeded to tell me I had been in the store for an hour and that it was weird (I checked when I left and I had been in the store 34 minutes, which a large chunk of that time was conversation with two of the employees about relevant subjects) I asked her why she was questioning me and that I felt like I was being profiled because of my age. I realize there is a lot of homeless people in that area and that may affect the store in a negative way but being rude to obviously paying customers is something I’ve never seen in retail before. At the end of the encounter I asked for her name and she told me it followed by the fact that she was the owner. Sorry lady but being the owner doesn’t give you the right to treat me like you did….
