“Absolutely love going there to get my bread granted sometimes they have what I need and sometimes they don't but that's the thing with free items I don't know what I do without it it saves me I'm quite a bit of money so I can buy other grocery items and when picking season comes for gardens they have some fresh vegetables and fruit sometimes and I got to say thank you to all the wonderful volunteers otherwise the place would not be there without their hard work”

“My son lives in Ridgefield and we absolutely love this little town, that is now booming. You have to time it right to be able to eat in the back room of this grocery store. It's definitely a hidden gem. We all had the halibut fish and chips and they were some of the best! The coating on the fish is not too thick or greasy and the tartar sauce is homemade, which is absolutely some of the best we've had. Supply chain issues hinder some of the products that are available, but if you're ever in town, check out this local place. I've always had good service and great food.”

“Nice and quiet place to get loaded! Take I-5 to exit 22 (Dike Access Rd) go west about 2mi and the road will curve to the left! Go about 2.5mi and the facility is on the left side of road down a steep driveway! There is a white sign on the right side of the road for Columbia Fruit! The staff is friendly and the facility is clean! No overnight parking! I will definitely come back again for loads!”

“Freddie's is the go to grocery store in Scappoose and this trip is no different. I went in looking for some very specific ingredients and two ladies (Stephani and Suzanne) who worked there, basically became my personal shoppers and helped me get everything, even making sure that I didn't forget some critical ingredients that I needed and almost forgot.I can highly recommend finding these ladies if you are having trouble finding things in the store. :)Suzanne/Stephani, the cookies turned out great! “The tamales were moist and huge. I was a little spectacle about getting some after seeing a review that they were dry. As far as the customer service the lady working did not greet me she is very shy it has nothing to do with your race. I'm Mexican and as far as El Salvador they speak dialect not Spanish. It is hard for us to understand the language he very well could have pronounced something wrong it's common.”

He wasn't attending my car but rarely do you ever get the full service(washing our windshield) was nice to see someone doing it since it doesn't happen anymore even from the older people. “The associate that has been doing my order is the best I’ve had in the two and a half years I’ve been using this program. She should be commended and given a pay increase. She’s always working hard when I see her in the store. Please show your loyalty to your employees that change a customer’s experience. I had been going to Freddy’s because I had so many issues with this store. She is the reason I spend my $1,000 a month on groceries with y’all instead of Fred Meyer in Scappoose. Even when they are a dollar cheaper on almost everything. So it’s not really your store as it is the employees that usually make a customer’s mind up about where they want to put their money. “The pill counts are always off by one or two pills on 90-day scrips (usually over). The phone verification was off the wall condescending last time. Like a mix between a bored teenage girl chewing gum & rolling eyes, and the boss on Office Space. They forced me to pick up a new scrip I didn't need for two weeks because "that's the way it's done sir, okay". The value is the prices. Best $ anywhere.”
