If you value your sanity, do NOT use the pharmacy at the Garden Valley location!!! My prescriptions were forced there when BiMart closed their pharmacy in Sutherlin. The first thing you will experience are unbelievably long wait times on the phone (an average of 40 minutes). When they do answer, they want your diagnosis on each medication. I refused and pointed out that she was violating my HIPPA rights! At that point she stopped her interrogation and put me in the system. Then you'll tell them what you need. They will say ok "well get that ready for you." But when you get there and stand in line for at least 20 minutes, you'll find out that at least one of your prescriptions is not ready and in fact, they are out of stock! They will give you a blank stare because they don't care! If you call the Cottage Grove Waslgreens to tell them the problems you are having with that location, they WILL HELP YOU STRAIGHTEN IT OUT! In fact, they weren't out of stock, they just didn't fill it. Then they tried to blame the delay on insurance issues. But when I confronted them on that, they admitted they just didn't run the insurance at all. So I started this process on a Thursday, and after many phone calls and being on hold for an eternity, along with two trips to the pharmacy and waiting in long lines, they finally coughed up my medication the following Monday. It was a nightmare that the word INCOMPETENCE doesn't even begin to describe. Unless you want to be on hold forever, call the main number and tell them you can't get through and insist they transfer you. That will shorten your suffering! Good luck!!!

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! Now that both Covid 19 Shots are complete I can comment on the customer service at this store. Pharmacy service was professional, polite and well organized. Wyatt and Doug gave me my shots and did an awesome job ! I don't like getting shots and there was no pain when given. After my last shot today (5-20-21 430pm) i shopped and checked out with my items at the front. The girl who checked me out was very friendly and helpful . Thank you !

This Walgreens is absolutely terrible! I have used this pharmacy since moving here in 2018. The customer service has gotten so bad that I called and spoke to the pharmacy manager (Trask). I told him about how bad the service in the pharmacy has gotten and he said, "well, I have been here for a month and I have not heard this!" Ok, good-bye Walgreens, I transferred all my prescriptions to RiteAid where the service is awesome!

Like a previous poster mentioned, this place is terrible against people of color. I had a similar experience where this same pharmacist, Sara, refused to give me my medications, medications that have been deemed by my physician to be critical for my health. I suffered through 3 days at home not being able to do anything because of my condition because this pharmacist thought she knew how to treat my condition better than my physician. Completely unacceptable on many many levels.

BEWARE: do not go to this Walgreens if you expect to be treated with any hint of human decency! If you are Caucasian with an Anglo-Saxon name you will probably have no problems. But if you are a person of color BEWARE. Pharmacist Sara Cole feels entitled to your private medical information if you are a colored person, and will refuse to fill your medications solely due to the fact that you are not white. She will delete your prescriptions sent by your doctor due to her personal beliefs about the medication, and then ask you to contact to get them resent by your very busy doctor. Then she will continue causing problems to your health by holding the medications, due to her invasive insistence of wanting to know all of your private medical information. Perhaps if she feels so entitled to your private information she should have considering going to medical school. This felt like a huge discriminatory unnecessary power trip. I have never felt so discriminated against for my skin color and name in my entire life and have never had such a problem filling a prescription that I've been taking for years. There was a lot lip service to defend these abhorrent actions but the bottom line seems to be that I was not white enough to be trusted with the long medical history that was undoubtedly available to her. DO NOT GO TO THIS WALGREENS EVER!

Friendly, clean, convenient. No long lines of customers, no wait time, or maybe I just came early morning I don't know.
