The Landing in Roseburg is by far the best and cleanest senior living facility I have been in my life. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is recently built, very accessibleand well kept. If, and when I ever have the need, I pray I will be fortunate to be in a place exactly like this one!

Since my daughter has started working there since October I have had the pleasure of being a part of The Landing family. I was immediately treated with respect and caring from ALL staff. My first experience walking on the front doors I felt at home. I plan to move in as soon as I can. Love you all with GREAT respect.

The employees at The Landing Senior living in Roseburg are the best, they’re knowledgeable & experienced. We always leave there confident knowing our loved ones are in good hands and in great care. Our favorite part is the extras they offer food, entertainment & stimulating activities. We are lucky to have this facility in Douglas county!

The Landing is a place unlike anywhere else. The staff treat the residents like family. The compassion and care that the staff show the residents is truly beautiful ❤ They really give their hearts to the people they care for.

From the first phone call, to the tour, to a lunch, the RN assessment, to more follow up questions by phone or email, we have been impressed and our hearts lifted that such a place exists for our mother. She wanted a place with this like-minded philosophy of life. I was happy to see the care and joy the staff show. It is an active place, with fun and respect, and with friendly residents happy to chat with us. The restaurant, the theater, the Ladies Tea, the yoga classes, the other outings, the in-progress poker table and future Pub will help keep our Mom engaged and enjoying life. We have a move in date.

Honestly, it's a great place to work. I love working along side my residents as they continue on their next leg of the journey. I cannot imagine working any where else.

My mother is in the Alzheimer memory care unit. It was a hard decision complicated by the pandemic. But we are so glad that she is in this facility. She has had wonderful care and the staff are all very caring and warm. The director has been wonderful communicating with us about her condition and making it possible to visit. Overall this seems like a wonderful place.

My mother is in this facility due to Alzheimer's. At first we were nervous about having to put her in a home after several years of patching together 24/7 home care. Our concerns were quickly alleviated when we saw how well mom was doing and how happy she was at the Landing and even thriving with the extra staff attention and social opportunities with other residents. The Landing is at the top of our list with kind caring attentive staff and a beautiful clean facility with a home-like atmosphere. The best part is they have many activities to help keep them physically and mentally active. It's so wonderful seeing mom in many of the landing activity photos and knowing that she is having lots of fun! Thank you so much to the management and staff for running an excellent memory Care facility for mom. Her four children and my dad in heaven greatly appreciate it. Sincerely Susan (Peggy's daughter).

After 4 months of living at The Landing my wife said to me, "I am so happy we decided to move here. It is right for us." We have found a caring staff that truly seems to practice the core values The Landing referenced in their promo materials. They take the time to not only provide care, but take the time to care about us. We found a comfortable, modern apt. We found a growing list of daily activities to promote our physical & emotional health while building community among the residents. We are enjoying our experience at The LandingGary and Cheryl Gries

My husband of 38 years has early onset dementia. I finally decided to place him in this memory care center, in the hopes that he would be able to receive more care than I could give him, as well as to get more social stimulation from other people in a similar situation. After 4 days, I visited for the first time and was appalled to see that he hadn’t had a shower since I’d dropped him off that first day. He also hadn’t had other basic hygiene needs met, including teeth brushed, face shaved, he was wearing the same dirty socks from 3 days ago, etc. The final straw was a phone call 2 days later, reporting that he “had been involved in an altercation.” One of the residents had attacked him, leaving deep scratches down both sides of his neck, face, and hands. I decided to pull him out that same night, just 5 days after first dropping him off at the center.I would think twice before leaving a loved one in this care center. The management seems unaware that the residents here, who often need a lot of personal care, are not receiving the basics to meet their needs.
