My friend called this company to ask questions and the lady was very rude on the phone. We were looking up rentals and one of us found one from their website and she was a snot about it saying " we have not listed that in a long time, you need to look on our actual website" well duh! We were in your website. Never ever will I recommend this place. Talking to someone in such a snotty manner can really make a difference of getting that business or not. I know this does not sound that bad but don't talk to people like that. You were on speaker and three of us heard how awful you sounded.

Century 21 Neil Co is a horrible (or sadly, typical) property management company. There's a reason only 200-some people like this page in a community of 20,000+! We moved here from the Portland area this spring. My family and I rented a home in Green. From day one, I let every person I talked to there know that the carpets were in horrible condition and needed to be replaced. But I knew that they would try to say we did excess damage. Because that's how these guys make their money. Literally, if someone spilled water on the carpet, it turned orange. And, I was right. Neil Co charged me for cleaning the carpets, and added an additional charge for excess cleaning. We found cockroaches shortly after moving in. I called Neil Co, I was told someone would come spray. Nobody ever showed up to spray. Additionally, they charged me another fee for "flea treatment" for my pets. My pets do not have fleas, they did not have fleas when I lived there, they did not have fleas before I lived there, and they don't have fleas now. So I'm not sure why I'm getting charged for flea treatment that wasn't necessary when I had cockroaches in my home. They charged me approximately $300 for filling in holes and repainting. When they specifically ask that you don't fill in holes or touch up paint on the move out checklist. I knew we were only going to be in this home for a few months, I only hung up maybe 8 things with very small nails. How does it cost $300 to putty 8 small holes and dab some paint on it? The bottom line is, they are saying that my family did $1600 worth of damage to a home in a matter of 6 months. I got my entire deposit back at my last rental, and I got most of it back at my rental before that. I have receipts and rental agreements to prove it. I expect that they would take what was owed to them, but it's so obvious that they scraped up any and every charge they could think of in order to make the most money off of us. I know that this is pretty par for the course with property management companies. But it's sad for this area because they are the biggest property management company in town, so people have no choice. I'm lucky to not have to rent anymore, but I think everyone should enter into agreements with eyes wide open! Your deposit is a donation to NeilCo. Don't expect to get treated fairly by these jerk offs.

Recently bought a home from Neil Hummel -- he was rude from day 1. He was the listing agent on the house we purchased, he was the one that showed us the home and our realtor's main contact throughout the process. First impression - arrogant, we were wasting his time and he didn't want/need our business. Throughout the process -- his emails and correspondence with our realtor, us (buyers) and sellers (in my opinion) was always blunt, curt and snide. He would give our realtor ridiculous deadlines and insist we respond right that minute (we both worked full time & lived out of state). This is not our first home purchase and we are actually familiar with the process, paperwork, etc. and had THIS interaction been our FIRST home buying experience, we probably would never buy/sell again. Needless to say, if/when we do go to sell, we would not use Century 21/Neil Hummel.

I had a great experience working with Realtor Ray Perry at the Neil Company Real Estate. Even though I was only going to buy an inexpensive fixer-upper, he gave it the same amount of attention as if it was a million dollar home. Mr. Perry is very knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. He shared some very pertinent information and professional opinions, going far and beyond the call of duty to help me make as informed of a decision as possible. After all this, I ended up not buying a house in Roseburg. Mr. Perry was being very graceful when it turned out that I had wasted his time. He is a true professional and a wonderful Realtor. I highly recommend him to anyone buying Real Estate in this area. Thank you, Mr. Perry!

The rudest people in the industry. They are slumlords by proxy. We have been invaded by bugs since day one,so are our neighbors. Do not rent 3250 garden valley rd Roseburg. They put everything off on the property owners who are Slumlords. They signed a contract to fumigate and refuse too, saying they can't unless the property owner agrees, which he won't. Now that I complained, I received a 60day no cause notice to terminate tenancy. Do not rent from Byron Belamonte. Or The neil company, you'll regret it. You will also have to put up with the property owner showing up with no 24 hrs notice and looking in your Windows. Possibly has mental issues and did not feel safe.

Underhanded. I'm so upset with this company right now for being underhanded that I can barely write this review. I've used Yelp often for recommendations but I've never written a negative review so I believe that goes to show how upset I am with Neil at Century 21.

Do not rent from these people. I only lived in my rental for only 6months and they charged for cleaning and steam cleaning the carpets and landscaping and other things totaling to over 600 dollars. I think the reason why they charged me so much is because the owner of the house is a realtor in their office. We cleaned the house cleaner than it was given to us. I called them a couple of times to fix the fan in the laundry room and no one ever came out. Do not rent from this place unless you are okay to let them keep your security deposit. I called them to dispute charges and Amber said she will talk to the property manager and give me a call back. Close to two months later she still hasn't called. I called her and she told me that the owner and property manager will not pay for anything. Great follow up guys! Not!

Honestly the rudest group of people you could ever find in one building. We had found a house we wanted to rent from them and had our dog approved by the agent showing us the property, I called two days later and she said there was someone else interested and that they had been approved ahead of us. We had already told our application had been approved and when I confronted her about it she said it was because they wouldn't take our dog ( the dog that had been approved). This girl then told me that she didn't want to talk to me anymore and hung up. I spoke with another girl who seemed far nicer and she said she would try and work something out if we could prove the dog was not a pit bull (he's a mastiff) by getting vet papers faxed. We did as we were suppose to do and never heard back from her the following morning which is when we were told she'd call. The following evening I called again and she refused my call so I asked to speak to the person in charge of the rental department, she was worse than either of the two previous girls by far. No wonder they act that way with this woman Kathy in charge. She told me that she stands behind the behavior of her employees and basically called me a liar as she sat on nearly $100 of ours. I wouldn't go back to use this company again if the other option was a shack. Horrendous.
