Pulled up to get gas and machine wouldn’t take my card, the guy that was working was just sitting in his truck. After a minute of failed attempts I just ended up leaving. The guy never once got out to help or offer any assistance. So looks like the guys across the street get my business going forward.

I’m from Florida where I am very use to pumping my own gas. I was approached by someone and said I could do it myself and not to worry about it. When I proceeded to enter my debit card it declined. I was then told by the attendant Lane that I need to bypass the pin on the screen for the card to go through. She walked to another pump where she then rudely said loud enough for me to hear “this is why a gas attendant is needed” as the other attendants was laughing. I won’t be coming back here again because they purposely withheld information to the customers who want to pump themselves when they know it will not work and then proceed to make you feel dumb and treat you rudely simply because you don’t want to bother an attendant and pump the gas yourself? I know they are just gas station attendants but they should be somewhat nicer to people who are trying to make their job easier.

Costs nothing to leave the pumps on overnight. What gives?Edit: Oops. They have to pump gas for you in Oregon. Edited the stars.
